Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but nothing more to see there, unfortunately the shops were closed btw 11-17o'clock, some restaurants were open to have a beverage. For short visit it is sufficient.

A beautiful town, with great hikes available in the area. There are also several beaches, although they require some hiking to get to, but are absolutely stunning. This is a lovely destination for out-of-season travel! We were here in March and it was perfect. We were warned that it becomes very very busy in summer.

Medieval village, well looked after, quiet, espectacular views from the castle, nice houses and stroll.
It depends of what you're looking for. I have heard is very busy during high season so, too small for a crowd. A car is needed to get there and to move around the area. However, parking facilities are scarce.

1. Cuban Bar Restaurant Havana in the town center for dinner - great food, impeccable service, really nice and interesting design with the indoor and terrace seating.
2. Cap Sa Sal Restaurant for lunch or snack/drinks (Sa Tuna, 5-10 mins drive from Begur town center) - perfect terrace overlooking the sea and great seafood.

Going to the beaches and walking from beach to beach was very enjoyable.
We used the summer bus to get to and from the beaches, only one Euro, but the last day of the bus was 17th September so after that we took a taxi, 19 euro each way.
It wasn't easy to find a table to eat in Begur when we Spoke English, luckily my partners French is very good, we appeared to get better service when he talked French.

Beautiful old town with a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get to the beach by bus. It's not great for cars as very narrow streets and I'm not sure about parking. Would definitely recommend as a holiday destination. This area of Spain seems to have escaped high rise buildings - it has a Majorcan feel about it. Definitely worth a trip!
Stunning boutique hotel in begur’s heart! The hotel is designed with a “soho house” vibe (rooms and facilities have a warm and cool style) and we are not sure how they do it but the whole place has an incredible smell.
The owner and the staff provide a top-notch service which is particularly refreshing if you compare it with other properties of the area. Finally, do not miss breakfast with local fresh products in their lovely terrace!
It’s our second visit, but for sure we will come back.
Fantastic views out to the ocean from the property - amazing sunsets and sunrises. Large balcony and deck area, including a barbeque, and a spacious kitchen/dining/lounge area. Very close to Sa Tuna - the best beach in the region, if not the whole of Spain. Great base for visiting other towns and beaches in the area if you have a car. Plenty of parking near the property. Large swimming pool. Excellent property management team.
The location in the old town was perfect and the breakfast was truly wonderful! The hotel had warm vibes and I felt at home. Begur is a beautiful town, and we were just off the main square which was perfect. The hotel restaurant was great too we had afternoon tapas there and sangria before leaving! We arrived by car and appreciated the secure parking lot around the corner.
Just about Everything made it special. Even having to park in the public parking lot, and making your way up the narrow roads to the hotel. Loved staying in a super old place with lots of history. The former castle/fort was up above, and worth the walk.
Driving to other local sites was very good. Beaches, Pals, Peradallata, and more.
Amazing location, stunning views, simply one of the best places in Begur, you will fall in love as soon as you arrive in the place and feel the wind in your face, turquoise water like in Maldives and great inner design of the hotel, spacious rooms, floor to ceiling windows and lot’s of light. Reasonably good spa.
Loved the location 1 minute walk to beach and cliff walk along the Mediterranean one of the best ports of my trip to Spain. The staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of Iberian ham breads and pastries were fresh Yum. Facility was laid back and so friendly felt like visiting family.
One of our best stays. Location is perfect - calm little town, beautiful bay and nice beach. The apartment was so clean and well maintained so I can’t remember anything matching it. 3 floors all for our disposal with the big balcony and bay view. I recommend it 100%.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Sa Riera! During our whole stay, our dog and us felt very welcomed. The staff was super friendly and always open to help out and give useful recommendations. The location was great - just around the corner of beautiful Sa Riera beach <3
Beautiful views from the apartment! The apartment was lovely and very comfortable size for our family of 4. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed including to cook meals. We really enjoyed the walking path to Sa Tuna and exploring Begur.
The breakfast was very filling, with eggs, cheeses, fresh cut fruits, coffee, yogurt, and delicious pastries. The hotel smelled like freshly cut flowers. The view from the hotel on the mountain of the Mediterranean coast was picture-postcard like!
The hotel was an oasis of calm. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. So convenient for the town of Begur which was just a short walk away. Anca and Manel were excellent hosts and so friendly. All the team worked hard and were also very friendly.
It was hard not to fall in love with Begur. The Hotel Hanoi made it more perfect. Very spacious room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Loves the complimentary coffee machine. The terrace is great to relax and the staff is super kind.
Very kind personnel and very nice hotel. Breakfast was also as expected. Location is incredible. Their is parking in front or 20m further so that was a nice addition. Can only recommend this hotel when staying in Begur.
An amazing boutique hotel , with the best inclusive breakfast we had all of our trip.
Super niche, very welcoming staff , very well appointed rooms with a bespoke feel throughout. Can't recommend it highly enough.
