Pensión Roma, hotel in Baleira

Offering city views, Pensión Roma is an accommodation located in Castroverde, 22 km from Roman Walls of Lugo and 24 km from Congress and Exhibiton Center.

The owner is very welcoming. He also manages the bar next door which offers nice dinner choices from 7:00 pm and breakfast from 7:00 am. The room is modern, big and super clean. After 29 days on the camino from Bayonne, it was a nice break from the albergues. It’s in my top 3 best places on the camino so far.

Wonderful people , lovely dinner and breakfast. Friendly cats and dog. Two sweet kittens. Please visit this, it’s worth breaking the Camino between Castroverde and Lugo just for this. Well signposted off the Camino. Cosy fire as it was suddenly really cold. My room was lovely.

    Neat small town.

Neat small town. The Restaurant Neireo lives up to its excellent reviews, Definitely eat there. We chose the mixed salad and fish options for 1st and 2nd courses and they were fantastic. Desserts and bread delecious too. Non-house wine also reasonably priced.
