Beautiful old city with great architecture and lively nightlife. The Camino Inglés winds through the city, making it especially convenient for those walking that pilgrimage route to Santiago. We happened to be there during tortilla celebration week, and the Betanzos tortillas are a speciality. Best hint - find the small cafe/bars located through the “arches” in narrow streets just off the main plaza.LisaUnited States

With a call, I was able to leave a message in broken Spanish, and my things were waiting for me at the next hotel for a fee of €30. much appreciated!

It's just a few minutes to walk to the town plaza, grocery store, etc. and the kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed to make dinner after a long day walking on the Camino Ingles. Isabel was a delight to deal with, and helped us with directions and logistics for our stay. The place was immaculate, and the perfect place to relax and we even ran a load of laundry!

We were also taken into town and picked up again in the evening so that we could get something to eat in the restaurants in town and then dropped in town in the morning to continue our walk.. The two complimentary bottles of water were very appreciated. Quiet area but very close to Betanzos plaza Dos hermanos and several places to eat. Washing machine was huge asset.
