Friendliness of Isabel the owner, but her husband was not so friendly. They did make us a snack when we arrived late but charged us 42€ which included a bottle of wine. It was a very quiet location which we liked. Breakfast was very poor and the coffee rank. We will be sending in an official complaint once we have all the photos. Time switches and I bumped my head when the time switch did not give us enough time to get into the room. We must have had the worst room in the hotel. The bathroom was disgusting and the headboard was a piece of natural on the wall behind the bed. For £97 a night I expected much more than this. Photos to follow.

Marleen and Yves were just the best hosts.
Super generous and such lovely, enthusiastic people who generally wanted to share their slice of paradise they created.
They had thought of everything for the bedroom and bathroom .. it’s a shame we could only stay one night …
The pool was as delightful as the taste of their produce they shared with us ..

Cosy village. Best of the villages in the area.
Cosy village. Best of the villages in the area. Beautiful hikes close by at 1000meters with great views. Old centre is very cute and lively with good bars and tapas at calle Mayor at night. The paseo del platano has a beautiful park and playground and lots of atmosphere in the afternoon. Very family friendly, clean village.

We didn’t actually visit Biar, it have done in previous visits and it is a pretty town. Surrounding countryside is timeless and very lovely. Good places to walk especially from Masia Safrania. Alcoa is worth a visit and not far away.
Casa Rural appartment had excellent location right beside the historical castle in heart of old town. Parking was easy, free and appeared to be safe at the castle parking. The appartment was very nice, spacious and with very genuine historical touch. I truly loved the old interiors. Good basic equipment such as washing machine. Grill and sitting area at the patio was nice too! Biar is truly a gem, lovely old town.
The room we had was very big with a comfortable sofa and a roof terrace with table, chairs and deck chairs. All very nice. The staff were friendly. The food was very good and good value for money. Parking was easy as the square in front of the hotel is fine for dropping off and collecting bags and then the hotel has a fenced in car park very nearby.
Charming rural hotel in a nice setting with established gardens and salt water pool. Rustic but with furniture and fittings in good condition and nice touches like a private courtyard for the room I stayed in. Peaceful and quiet location equidistant (around 10km) from two small towns, both of which are pretty.
The hotel had beautiful gardens and a pool. It was so tranquil and quiet and a lovely place to have a drink before dinner. The staff were lovely - in particular Juan, the waiter and barman, who spoke English and made our stay so memorable. The WIFI in the room was good and it worked in the garden as well.
the garden, the view on the castle, the staff was adorable, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the parking was easy to access, the bedroom was super cosy and charming, the hotel was very pitoresque.
Great place to relax and unwind and with a lovely pool. The owners gave us very helpful tips on nearby walks and places to visit. It's only 4km from Biar which has places to eat.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared. They offered an evening meal, which turned out to be a multi course dinner of local food, and was very good.
The room was great (very large with a small terrace), possibility of private parking close to the hotel, the food was great, very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely location with views of castle and church of Biar (well worth a visit to explore). Nice grounds and pool area. Super restaurant and friendly service.
