Great small town opposite Vigo, which is easily reached by ferry that takes 20 minutes. Cangas is a very friendly place with lots of taperias, bars and restaurants. It has a great beach with lots of opportunities for watersports.JohnGermany - 10Scored 10
Cangas is an adorable town across the bay from Vigo.
Cangas is an adorable town across the bay from Vigo. A fun thing to do is to take the ferry over to Vigo or to spend the day at Islas Cíes. Cangas is surrounded by hills and has access to many small beaches. You can hike or run in the eucalyptus forests on the hills and find different little beaches around the bay, Cangas has loads of restaurants and bars but is not too good for vegans. Most restaurants do not have many veggie dishes other than salad and pimientos de padrón (green peppers). We found 2 restaurants that had some vegan dishes.janetSpain

The room had air conditioner, confortable beds, pretty cleaned room, bathrooms, linen, towels etc. I really recommend Jucamar.

My room was small but had everything I needed including an enclosed balcony overlooking the beach.
