Parking off road. Walking 15 mins to town. Bed comfortable enough, bathroom upgraded and modern, though still an overbath shower, not walk-in. Towels big and fluffy.Staff tried to be helpful.

The location is perfect, especially if you plan to visit the Dali museum. There is a mini fridge, and the bed is comfortable.

Figueres is a slightly shabby town though perfectly friendly and people mostly come here for the Dali museum. Were stayed for a couple of days rest at the end of our long GR11 hike - its much cheaper than Barcelona! tbh though there isn't a lot to do here.

Very nice little town!!
Very nice little town!! People are nice , the restaurants are affordable, they had a really nice food market on Thursday morning! It was perfect!
Its a little town though so 3-4 days is long enough ;)
Be sure to visit the Dali Museum, it’s just unfortunate that the paintings are not better explained. An audio guide would have been appreciated.
The best churros were right around the corner from Duran Hotel!!!

I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it.
I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it. But Figueres is a pleasant and friendly town and I enjoyed exploring it. It is also a good base for visiting and walking in the surrounding countryside. I had a couple of excellent longish walks in the Serra de Rodes (on two of the megalithic trails) and there is clearly much more to explore.

Trip to the Salvadore Dali museum was excellent,
Food in some cafes inexpensive even in the main Ramblas area.
Visited the St Ferran castillo (N11A north of Figueres). English tours ob specific days of the week. In my opinion not suitable if walking is restricted. There is a 20 min overview in several languages inside. 5€ for standard enttrance. Guided tour 16 euros.

It’s better to go when it’s less crowded, around 12 it’s full of people so better to go earlier in the morning. It takes about 3 hours to observe everything.
If you plan on having a english speaking guide plan way ahead.

I was just passing through to the Pyrenees and it is a good destination to get to from Barcelona by train if you are planning to cycle the Pyranees as I did. The real only attraction in the town is Dali's museum which I never visited. The train from Barcelona is fast and stops only 3 times before reaching Figueres. It does seem as if it is used by a large number of comuters that live in Girona and travel the hour into the city every day so best times to travel areout of peak hours.
Great and comfortable hotel close to the AP-7 highway. We always stay here when we're heading for our holidays further in Spain. The family rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Also one of the reasons we always stay here is the restaurant. The kitchen here is outstanding! Great local food; fish, rice dishes and vegetables are served on a very high level.
Staff is very friendly. Last time my daughter left her little stuffed animal in her bed and the staff was so friendly to send it back to our home address. Thanks so much!
Breakfast was excellent: extensive choice of freshly cut fruits, cereals, breads, patisseries, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, and some cooked items.
The room was very clean and the hotel very smart.
Parking was under cover, clean and well lit, easy to access from the hotel, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre.
I was massively impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets within the parking garage, and found having these very convenient too.
I cannot fault Hotel Pirineos. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The Reception desk staff spoke English and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and clean and the included breakfast was extensive and extremely good value for money. When we were unable to book a taxi to get to the station, a member of staff drove us in the hotel's vehicle. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This apartment is outstanding. Modern and beautifully designed, well equipped, very spacious, front and rear terraces..and the view from the front terrace of Dali's museum was amazing. Two double beds, full kitchen separate shower and toilet, comfy sofa good outdoor furniture. Well located opposite the Dali museum with supermarket handy and lots of cafes etc. Great host...very efficient and friendly. The best so far in Spain..pure luxury.
We could sit in a seperate room for breakfast with our dogs. They weren't allowed in the restaurant, of course, but there was a special table ready for us near the restaurant so we could still have our breakfast. Since we had to continue our travel with a long drive to southern Spain, we also could fill our cans with hot water, so we could have some extra coffee in the car during our trip. Very nice and friendly people.
The staff here were brilliant; not that I needed anything out of the ordinary, it's just that they were uniformly friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was both good and very affordable. The room was fine; not amazing, but perfectly acceptable. The hotel is a ten minute walk or a short bus ride to the train station for Barcelona, which was my main reason for choosing it.
Very good location, I had beautiful room with balcony. Nice design of the room. Good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. I could enjoy it. Near the hotel, the same street down about 200 meters is Txot's Cidreria cafe with good food, drinks, service and atmosphere.
The room was very comfortable and spacious, was very clean and had a nice view. The breakfast was good, very friendly staff and walking distance to the center. There is a public parking right next to the hotel with a discount for clients.
There was a quiet fridge with two bottles of cold water waiting for us. The staff were great. We even got a second chair. The hotel is almost next door to the Dali museum and the bountiful art in the hotel is appropriately quirky.
Spacious room, big cozy bed and hotel is pet friendly. We paid extra for breakfast and it was nice. There is restaurant in hotel but unfortunately we didn't try the food as we were tired. Staff is very friendly.
So convenient right next to the Dali museum, shopping and restaurants. Beautiful apartment with tons of space for a family of 5. Very clean and nicely decorated. Easy check in.
