we liked being directly at the beach and having breakfast every morning on the lovely terrace, going out for dinner by walking.
Nice flat with enough space for everyone.
the Garage with access to the flat!
El Medano is a spanish town with several beaches. It has a family feel. There are strong winds on 2 of the beaches so kite surfing is very popular. There are a good variety of restaurants in all price ranges. There is a bus to Los Christianos but its a journey of at least an hour because traffic seems busy at all times. Its possible to get a bus to a stop 3 KM inland where there are a range of buses to different destinations and a faster bus to Los Christianos.
I found Los Christianos and Las Americas too built up and busy but the beaches there were lovely and had all the useful facilities.

Small mountainside village, very local.
Small mountainside village, very local. Some very good restaurants, the big grocery shops were quite far from the hotel so if you buy a lot, it's a long way to carry them to hotel. Village is not spectacular at all but cosy, with an old monastery and church square in the middle and some cute side streets.

Major tourist attractions in Tenerife within easy driving distance, including amenities. We visited the great restaurant Perlas del Mar - excellent fish, seafood, salads, wine. Wonderful friendly service. The town is small, everything is within walking distance, the bus network is also good, and more distant destinations are easily accessible by bus.

It was a nice little town that’s well connected to other cities. We visited a different nearby city every day. The buses were a bit late every day, but still run quite frequently to many cities. It was nice to stay in a quiet town that’s not that touristy and a bit out of the way.

A fantastic supermarket just round the corner from the accommodation. Good selection of local bars (but note that many close quite early.) we found two five star restaurants- recommended by Diony. Worth going out and explore the town - the area around the church is very pretty.

A pleasant, clean small town very close to public transport and the airport short distance away. Nice buuldings, inhabitants friendly. A few more reasonably non fast food places to eat would have been nice.Even a public swimming pool which was cleaned than in UK.

The apartment was very cozy, big terrace with plants and some furniture. I enjoyed how interior was done, a lot of wooden and straw components, with style. Almost everything needed was there (tableware, washing machine, blankets etc).
Big terrace is definitely great advantage.
It is easy to find parking nearby (in winter at least), but you'll need to walk a little bit (up to 10 mins).
Also placement is very nice, it was not noisy. However if you are new to Tenerife serpentines, it can be hard to drive through the town ;)
We have highly appreciated Jesus and Fatima's warm welcome, their kindlness and their lovely holiday rental, so well-equipped and very clean. When we arrived we felt immediately comfortable. The "Casa Luis Pico" is well located. From the beautiful garden there is a splendid view on the sea. If we have the chance to come back to the Tenerife Island, there is not doubt that we will return to the "Casa Luis Pico".

The owner communicated with us all the time before our arrival and had even understanding with our late arrival because of delayed flight. We were worried that we might not get in because it was on 31st of December but at the end there was no problem at all. Although, the accommodation is located quite further from the airport (Tenerife South Airport), there wasn´t any problem to get there by bus from Los Cristianos even at that day.
The hotel is in a small, quiet village where there are a few restaurants and bars.
The hotel itself is quaint, with a number of different areas where you can sit and chill. The breakfast was cooked to order with coffee, cereal and fruit. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
Our bedroom, no 2, was excellent, with high, wooden ceilings.
Casa Rural Anton Piche is simply amazing. The garden is next level beautiful and the entire place feels very welcoming also because of the nice family running the place and the cats who are very cute; the best accommodation for you to enjoy and explore Tenerife. We felt pity for the people staying in the hotelzone.
great location close to the airport staff was really helpful kept in-touch with me through my journey to Tenerife to make sure check in was straight forward, room was lovely clean and tidy would recommend if need a close comfortable stay close to airport.
I loved the stay here. It was easy for me to get around the southern part of Tenerife by bus from here. The hosts were super friendly a and the rooftop terrace was amazing!!! Kitchen had everything I needed. It was a pleasure to stay here.
My room was big and exceptionally cleaned.
People at the reception are nice and helpful.
The common spaces have been just renovated.
The bus station is one min away fron the hotel.
I was even able to walk (along a road) till El Medano.
Great accomo option near the Tenerife S. Airport. It's in a pleasant townhouse complex, near San Isidro (bus access to/from airport). Comfortable, quiet, modern and helpful manager. There are a few basic eating options in the area.
The hotel was lovely and character full, the staff were great and the way the hotel worked (honesty bar) was a real treat. Breakfast was substantial and quality.
If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, new (as of 2022), very close to Tenerife South Airport, and with friendly staff this is an excellent option.
