The hotel is accessible from the main road. It's situated alongside a busy road just outside of town. There normally should be plenty of parking available. Beds are fine. Bathroom was a good size. Downside (for us) is the fact that is was a bathtub and not a walkin shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Plenty of choices. Coffee was served by the staff.

This place is a quintessence of peace and harmony. Designed with attention to every detail Finca las Calmas is a unique hotel (or shall I say retreat) on the Andalusian map. Right from the arrival you feel like you are visiting old friends. Anne Marie and Gerard will make you feel the most important and welcomed person in the world. The rooms, dining area and surroundings creatively combine modern architectural style with Balinese Spa. Its Remarkably quiet due to its location in the middle of Olive Oil Orchards but since it’s placed on top of a hill you get to enjoy endless views up to Sierra Nevada snow-capped peaks (I was visiting in Oktober). Very intimate as well as the hosts make sure no more than 3 rooms are occupied at the same time. If you like a type of cuisine where tradition meets modern flair your taste buds are in for a treat! Gerard’s cooking is truly amazing. No need to leave this place for fancy Grenada restaurants - you have the top chef culinary experience on the spot with meals freshly made from local ingredients. He will include all your food intolerances and personal preferences too! I was swept off my feet. I truly recommend this place for anyone searching for great company, amazing food and peaceful sleep and rest.

The hosts (and Floosie) were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed in their amazing property. Although we arrived late at night and left early the next day we really enjoyed our time. The breakfast was amazing and the jacuzzi was a great surprise :) If i ever go back to this area i'll try to stay a couple of nights here again.

Casita of Casa Olivar was a lovely tranquil surprise for our family where we were looked after so generously by our hosts. The location was in a rural, quiet setting in good proximity to Granada and Malaga (but you do need your own transport) and a couple of small towns. The view from the patio was stunning, overlooking olive groves, the sleepy town of Tocon and the dramatic Sierra Nevada mountains. The sunrises were utterly spectacular. The accommodation was really comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to give us all our space, plus kitchen, living and outdoor patio - just lovely to have our meals. Our kids loved the space, the pool table and the dog and we had a few days rest and a visit to Granada. The kitchen and accommodation is very well equipped and we appreciated a few supplies (like olive oil and spices) for cooking plus soaps and shampoos etc (really useful when travelling light). Hosts went out of their way for us and helped with local information. Thank you.

The spaciousness of both the inside and the outside of the accommodation was seriously incredible! We were with a group of 10 people on our annual friend group holiday and we had the absolute best time. The quiet, the facilities and the comfort were all there and more. The very nice people are also really approachable and most friendly (thank you so much!). We absolutely recommend this accommodation! Also, if you want, the paintball court next to it is also very much recommended as the service, courts and staff are a 10/10!
