The town is centrally located for those who want to explore Anaga National Park. The distance to get there is only 40 minutes. The town itself, you will get everything that you want. There are places where you can find restaurants, souvenirs, hotels, and so on.

This was a wonderful place to stay.
This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and very functional. Having the area downstairs for meals was very nice.
The owner/caretaker was quite lovely and very accommodating.
The location was off the main area by a little bit, which we appreciated. We didn't want to be in a heavily populated area and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was nice to go on the back deck and watch the sunrise, sunset, and night stars. The security gate around the property was comforting.
The parking was acceptable and became a game for us to get our car parked, then back on the driveway in one turn.
Being in the more northern part of Tenerife, it was a drive to go to the south end of the island. One morning we got caught in the traffic and almost missed our planned event. But, having said that, it was totally worth the homeyness and price. We will definitely use this place again!

Lovely old historic town which forms a base for also visiting Santa Cruz. Lots of bars and restaurants. The old buildings are frequently open to visitors. It is easy to walk around the old town which is set out in a grid pattern so difficult to get lost.

Second time staying and enjoyed it just as much.
Second time staying and enjoyed it just as much. Rooms are beautiful and well kept.
There is a small kitchenette but for some reason is has no cutlery ?? Nor did they provide any coffee or tea etc.. Bit strange?
The breakfast is high quality and plentiful.
Apart from that it's a great hotel in a great location for the town and to use as a base for the area. Their private carpark is €10 per night but the open CP is €7.50 PN BUT it gets rammed so I'd advise you to book the hotel CP.

Beautiful old town with a lot of interesting architecture and many pedestrian streets. Driving in with a car was a bit of a nightmare, as there is lots of traffic and parking is difficult. Beware of any restaurants that don't have price lists. We ate at Bodegon Tocuyo, no price lists & rips off tourists.

The town was exceeding my expectations, and it is for good reasons that belongs to UNESCO heritage.
The hotel did not meet the expectations, not deserving the four starts. Indeed, it has a good base to get the four stars for the valuable heritage it has, but the services need to be improved. Did not prove value for money.
The property was enormous (we may have been upgraded as it had two bedrooms). It is a converted old house in the centre of La Laguna. There perhaps 8-10 apartments. Our apartment had great facilities well designed and of good quality. It had a large roof terrace although there was not much of a view. Despite being in the middle of La Laguna it was exceedingly quiet. The town has a regular tram down to Santa Cruz and so formed an excellent base for both of the towns.
Fantastic breakfast spread and really friendly staff members made a one-night stay quite lovely. Nice rooftop space to hang out, work, and eat in. Short walking distance to La Laguna historical center. Part of a network of hostels in Tenerife (Nest) which have offers for consecutive stays in their locations throughout the island, organized activities to participate in both in the hostel (pizza night, etc.) as well as excursions (to Teide Park, etc.).
We picked this location as an overnight between flights and didn’t expect much more than a bed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very welcoming establishment, eager to share their city and their island. The room is very well equipped, well located for exploring La Laguna and eating in a selection of good restaurants. We will definitely return if passing through Tenerife north again, and hopefully for longer so we can profit from the area.
Nice talkative owner, being green cultures. (Speak Spanish) Relevant stopover facility when late arrival. La Laguna with 155.000 inhabitants are living a life different from Tourist places. Its rather much colder than nearby Puerto de la Cruz, but favors with tranquilty en relaxment from tourist hubs. Walking Street without cars next Street where you can be sure lunch menues are in the prices of localy. Big portion. Spanish spoken
Everything was as expected. The hotel appear to be very well run by the owner. He gave us good suggestions as what to see in the town and in the island.
Although the hotel is not in the center, it's close enough (2 stops with the tramway in front of the office). There are also plenty of parking in the streets near the hotel
This mini hotel is nice and you can find anything you need in the kitchen.
The owner helped us to order a taxi to the North Airport at 4.30am, it cost 15€, which is not easy to do for a foreigner.
The place is ideal for a night stay before airport 🛫
There's no much diners and restaurants nearby, so count on that
Amazing beautiful rooms and building itself ! Make sure to check the garden , it is beautiful. It is located in the very center close to everything in la laguna . There is a public parking 2 mins walk from the hotel. There is a fridge and microwave , some tea and coffee, which was super handy !
Everything! the breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, all prepared in the moment, very comfortable, huge room, the owners were very helpful and kind. The tram stops right in front, the Science museum is just behind and San Cristobal de la Laguna is few minutes away. I highly recommend it.
The place was such a wonderful experience, check-in to check-out and beyond. The owner makes you feel welcome and can answer questions about La Laguna and beyond.
The book theme is very pleasant and you truly feel like a book rat in a library. Wishing you many guests!
I am not a great target guest for such a luxurious hotel. The staff was really nice and they allowed us to checkin earlier. The interior is just breathtaking. Location is great for La Laguna. We enjoyed the hot tube on the terrace even in December.
The hotel is special, set in a relatively old building but with all the modern comforts. The room was very comfortable. The location was perfect to visit La Laguna by night and then take an early flight from Tenerife Norte the following morning.
The SD Hotel is a very nice place to stay. The crew is is very friendly and the hotel is relaxed and located at a quite location not too far from La Laguna center. I would always recommend to stay there.
Sadly, we only had a few hours at the hotel before an early morning flight, but the quality and ambience were such that we hope to return for a proper stay someday.
Super Friendly staff all around, 24 hour open lobby, great location to be able to travel anywhere good food in hotel and nearby restaurants great hotel overall.
