Having revisited LLafranc many times since discovering it in 1963 I obviously love the place - but it is changing. There is suddenly a lot of construction which will ruin the place - too many expensive apartments being either crammed in near the beach or further up the valley. During our stay we had to endure the noise of chainsaws from 08.00 all day with no siesta as they clear more woodland. There are not enough restaurants or local shopping facilities to cope with the summer influx of tourists. But it still retains its charm and we will be back!

Llafranc is an incredible little town.

Llafranc is an incredible little town. The beach is fantastic and there are lots of great restaurants to eat at. There are also a lot of great snorkelling spots. You are able to do a great walk all along the cost through some other beautiful towns. It was really accessible to walk to the nearby towns and we were also able to get to Llafranc using just public transport.

Staff were wonderful along with the location.

Staff were wonderful along with the location. Room had everything you need tea and coffee facilities and a bar fridge stocked if you required something to drink. Property had a lift and a wonderful breakfast which was included. It is a small seaside town with narrow streets and limited parking, we were able to score a car park only a block away however we visited at the end of September .

Llafranc is beautiful. A lovely destination for families.

Llafranc is beautiful. A lovely destination for families. Has a genteel feel. Although restaurants are open late it’s never rowdy. Parking can be very very difficult , same in all other nearby villages. We liked to get to the beach about 8, just before the sun hit the beach and sit close to the shoreline. Lovely clear water, a deceptive shelf drop a metre or two in. We had some very hot days but with a good breeze. Some nice cliff top walks and beautiful views of the bay

Llafranc is a small town with no nightclubs or music bars - therefore no hen or stag parties! It is very clean, tidy, and has as air of happy orderliness. Lots of good restaurants to choose from. It feels quite French, being relatively close to the border and there are many French visitors there in the high season. Nice shops, a bit more expensive than further south where we live, but that is understandable. Fabulous views from the lighthouse. Lovely bay scenes from the nautical club and non-members can drink and dine there. A good base from which to visit the medieval towns of Pals, Palafrugell, and Peretallada. Our extended family has been going there for 41 years (and staying in the same house) so it must be doing something right!

Originally a small fishing village that has been partly modified to a pleasant tourist destination with lots of restaurants, some shops. Everything small scale. Of course you will no longer find the authentic Lllafranc in the present-day village.

We had appartment on the ground floor. It was really nice and spacy, two bathrooms and three bedrooms, living room with fully equipped kitchen. Location is excellent, right in the middle of the town, short walk to the beach, good restaurants all around and small supermarket just across the street. Small private parking in the basement of the house is a great benefit as Llafranc is a popular place without many public parking places available. Fully equipped, spacy and comfortable apartment. Excellent location.

Our stay at Mas Pastora was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous pool and garden area. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for us during our stay. Alba in particular was so lovely and even offered to prepare us a breakfast to go as we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight home. While still feeling like a complete oasis, the hotel is actually in the centre of Llafranc which is a beautiful place. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous seaside town in Costa Brava. The staff went out of their way to make our visit special. Daniella at reception was lovely and recommended local sights. All the amenities available for a wonderful stay - beautiful sun terrace overlooking the sea, beach towels for a dip in the sea steps from the door, spotless and well furnished modern room, functional gym, outstanding restaurant with special guest menu. Hotel Terramar checks all the boxes.

This hotel is very comfortable, but you need to choose the right room, such as the suite. The other rooms are very small and expensive in comparison. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in front of the beach, and the hotel does offer private parking. The breakfast is excellent, the hotel restaurant is average, but there are plenty of restaurants all around. The staff members are professional and very friendly.

we went for a partial ocean view, and the room was nice but a little small. This is a boutique hotel that is thoughtfully designed and the attention to detail is appreciated. The location can't be beat right on the beach in LlaFranc, and close to the hike to Calella. Breakfast was lovely with many options and the refreshment stations on the landings of each floor was genius (access to water, coffee, etc)

Set into the hillside elevated above the port end of the bay, you won't find a better view of Llafranc than from this apartment. And .... walk down the steps ..... you're right at the beach and restaurants. Javier, the owner, is very friendly, welcoming and eager to please.

The pool was very practical for our group, and given it was low season we had it nearly to ourselves. The apartment is a brief (but very steep) walk from the village of Llafranc, which made it easy for us to have dinners and lunches there.
