We made an overnight stop only. The room/suite was large with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The village is in the middle of the country so it was good to have the use of the spa and the possibility to eat dinner without further driving. Pedro is a consummate host and we enjoyed the tour of his bodega.

Medina del Campo is a charming location full of an ancient and Castilian flavour. Tradition is everywhere, from old and smelly bakeries to good and affordable restaurants offering great local dishes and typical cuisine. We went to enjoy Easter traditions there as they are still like they were many decades ago, so in this sense is like having a trip to the past. People are nice and very proud of their traditions. The town is nice to visit (mostly Plaza Mayor and surrounding streets, like the three 'comuneros' main streets and the many churches scattered around the village. Nearby, great excursions and accessible cross-country trips can be easily made in a surrounding full of nature and other charming villages!

I cannot fault this exceptionally well-run hotel in the center of Medina del Campo; the family who run it made sure that the reception I received on arrival and the service I obtained during my nine nights stay was personal and always first class; the bedroom was a good size, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar provided me each morning with an adequate light breakfast at a very modest price. I shall have no hesitation in staying again at the Hotel Reina Isabel should I return to Medina del Campo for a second visit.
The hotel is easy to find and in a great location for the town centre. There is a self check-in facility which would be useful if there is no one at Reception. The decor is quite minimal and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was continental in style, self service and was very good. We travelled on a motorcycle and although the free parking was open air, there is shelter against the weather/sun.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Location was just outside town which was ok.
For anyone staying in Medina del Campo, go to the tapas bar/restaurant Mejillonera. The tapas bar has a menu to rival anything in an upmarket, large town restaurant. We had some fabulous food there. The mussel croquettes were delicious and the cuttlefish hamburger was a foodies delight!!
Hotel great location for major road network. Walking distance to restaurants & shops. Allows dogs in the hotel. Parking available, but could be limited during busy holiday season. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and good choice available. Restaurant staff wearing crisp white uniforms, area of restaurant absolutely spotless.
The owner was very nice and helped us with getting around the town. It's located in the centre of town so close to all bars and restaurants. The hotel has good international secure parking that was good as we were travelling and had items in the car. All in all a no problem functional stay. Cafe below to get breakfast.
a great hotel, I was staying there alone as I was volunteering at a local animal rescue shelter, the staff was extremely helpful, i nice breakfast was also included, it is a perfect location in the centre of town and only 2 mins drive to Scooby rescue shelter!
I will stay here again.
Very reasonable rate for such a grand building. The atmosphere takes you back several decades; nostalgic . We opened the large windows (with a view) to let the night air come in; not something you can do in most hotels. It was fun.
Fine hotel for a stay over in the this town. Descent rooms, that are clean and accesible. Good restaurant and bar downstairs. Friendly staff and quick and easy checkin process. Overall not bad.
The hotel and grounds were beautiful the staff in the restaurant and canteen were excellent and it’s nice and relaxing for a weekend away from Madrid and all the noise
