We found this amazing paradise across the water from o grove. What can I say it was simply sensational excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it for a stay. The food is excellent both for breakfast and an evening meal
The wine and vodka are cheap as chips compared to Ireland. Comfy beds, clean room with a gorgeous view of the water
An excellent stay and the weather was fab too 😀

I notified the hotel we were celebrating our 40th anniversary and we were surprised to find chocolates and bottle of champagne in our room. The facilites are clean and well kept. The view is amazing- we enjoyed coming every afternoon to relax in the balcony with a book looking at the water. Susie and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was perfect! The only area I would improve was the bed was not confortable. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Gran Hotel La Toja is the only 5* spa hotel in Galicia. This historic hotel has a large garden, with an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts and paddle courts.

The location was amazing and our room view was perfect. Loved the balcony and complimentary bottle of champagne.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room size was very good.
The pool space and spa areas were lovely and so relaxing. We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant although was a bit late for us.
Surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, this tastefully restored, palatial home is situated in the heart of Pontevedra’s Rias Baixas. Guests have free access to the seasonal outdoor pool.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel just 5 mins drive outside Vilanova de Arousa. Hotel reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were beautiful and spacious.

This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful rural location just beyond Armenteira on the Portuguese Camino route. The accommodation was excellent, facilities amazing, food delicious and staff, especially Teresa, exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, they go above and beyond for their guests. It's the sort of place I'd like to keep to myself, but I've decided to be altruistic and let others know!
I should never have booked this accommodation.
There was no washing machine and we booked this property so we could wash our clothes as we were walking the Camino. When I messaged the owner she just replied "the washing machine is not available" . . . but that is the reason we book this place!
The view is brilliant as it's located on the side of a hill.
The kitchen is spacious but there is not much there. no electric or normal kettle and the coffee machine has lost parts and there is no coffee pods for it and nowhere within walking distance to purchase anything so if you are walking (like we were) then you are up the hill, without anything.
The shower is half functioning and I couldn't get it to work at first (none of the buttons / electrics work) and the owner did send a lady to show me how to get it to work upon which she stood there waving for me to get into the shower (while it was on) fully clothed and in front of her.
Then to add to my delight the drainage didn't work well and the shower overflowed onto the floor. "Brilliant".
Due to the way the shower behaved my 78 year old Father-in-law didn't manage to get it to work at all and so didn't manage to have a shower during our stay.
There is nowhere around to get anything so for dinner it was a 20 minute walk down the hill really didn't need or want after a long days hiking to the only restaurant that we could find. Needless to say it was another 20 minute walk up the hill again after dinner.
Totally regret this booking and I did feedback on the app but sadly there was no support at all.
Oh yes, it looked like they used multi-purpose carpet cleaner to wash the dishes as well so that was another joy.
