Great Location. Close to beach. Many restaurants and shops around. Bus stop with direct public bus to airport. The hotel is not so close to main road (which is good) where all noisy night clubs are. Very friendly staff. Good choice of food and drinks. Big rooms with big balconies. Quite.

Absolutely everything!
All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a great rapport with some of them (especially the children's entertainer and in the restaurant).
The were given an upgraded room for some reason which was very nice. Our room was on two levels so we asked if a stair gate could be fitted to prevent our grandchildren from going downstairs. This was fitted within 10 minutes!
The whole site was very well maintained and everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. Every morning we saw gardeners tending the beautiful flower beds and other staff going about their tasks. Everyone you met would smile and say "Hola". It's either a company policy or else they are just nice people. I like to think it's the latter.
There are a number of swimming pools which were never crowded and an ample number of sun beds. Despite not being supposed to reserve these many people did.
The food in the buffet was of a good quality and plentiful. Each night a different cuisine was provided so you didn't get bored.

The undisputed Tenerife party capital, Playa de las Américas is a year-round resort of sun, sand and sizzling nightlife. At the foot of volcanic mountains stretching up to Mount Teide, its long beach is comprised of imported golden sand. Tenerife’s natural beaches – such as that in northern Puerto de la Cruz – are actually black sand.
Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje neighbouring Playa de las Américas also have golden beaches, and all are lapped by warm, turquoise waters. Watersports are a popular activity, and the area boasts Siam Park with its hair-raising waterslides, rapids and a host of swimming pools. There’s even a wave pool where you can surf!
Outdoor pools are also found in the Playa de las Américas accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star resorts, cheap hotels and self-catering apartments. Aqualand has yet more flumes and pools, as well as a dolphinarium.
Dolphins and whales can also be spotted from boat trips along the coast. Other activities include Golf Las Américas, the Canaries’ largest golf course.
However, it’s what happens after dark that’s the biggest draw. The Patch complex has family-friendly bars with food, while the bars, clubs and casinos of the Starco shopping centre and Verónicas strip only really kick in at after midnight.

Touristy but very good promenade for walking.
Touristy but very good promenade for walking. Quiet at night. Beach near Parque Santiago III not suitable for swimming, good for surfing. Not normally my choice of destination but enjoyed the hotel pool, garden, room and location.

I have been visiting the Island for over 30 years and I have never had a bad visit.
Siam Park is a must!!!!
Best bar is the Brahms and Liszt on the Parque de la paz strip fabulous place with the best staff on the island
Best restaurants are Little Italy Pompeii, Vegas grill and Pier 8.
The only issue now with Tenerife is the taxis from the airport as the queues now are ridiculous.

We normally stay in Adeje but because of the steep hills that are unavoidable decided to try Las Americas. We were last there in the 90s and were pleasantly surprised how upmarket it has become. Obviously lots of investment has been made and we have rebooked our holiday for next year.

for a Nordic person, tired of sunless days Playa de las Americas is the perfect destination even in the month of February!
Several perfect sandy or rocky beaches, walking distance form one each other....The place is filled with nice restaurants, bars and terraces;
The location is a paradise for family and non-kids alike!
As a family we spent also amazing times with kids in both water parks available (free busses to the location) zoo and delfinario!

We always stay at cleopatra Palace or sir anthony because they are in the nicest bit of las americas right beside the musical fountains with excellent restaurants and shops. We eat in Bianco, taipan, empire and Thai . I book online with venture (download app) before we travel as they are very popular and excellent quality. Our favourite bar is Magic , in front of cleopatra and next to hard Rock Cafe.the beach in front of hotel is beautiful soft sand. Harry's bar is usually mobbed and too expensive but it is a prime spot overlooking fountain. We book bed &Breakfast at hotel because restaurants outside are unmissable.

This resort has changed enormously since a short visit 30 years ago and I must say it probably has ‘something for everyone’ as the cafes, restaurants and shops seem to cater for all requirements. From up market clothing stores in gorgeous complexes not out of place in Dubai, Paris or London to neighbourhood ‘touristy’ neighbourhood style mini markets, they’re all here. More restaurants than you can shake a stick at, our favourite pastime was strolling the incredibly long seaside walk and stopping for a while in the sun for a coffee, beer and pastry.

It’s a nice and quirky hotel with a modern looking lobby and surrounding areas. The swimming pools were great, the food was lovely and fresh, the staff were polite and helpful. We enjoyed the cocktails at the bar - ginger fizz and juicy temptation were exceptionally good. In addition, there’s a Mike’s Coffee place where delicious desserts, milkshakes, all sorts of coffees + espresso martini are made for you to enjoy. Overall, the hotel was better than we expected. I felt like it was well worth it to go for an “all inclusive option”.
The Hotel was centrally located for everything we wanted to see and. I don't drive, but there was no need to anyway, because there is an excellent local bus service taking you to all points of the island. Sometimes with a change of bus at terminal areas. But the fares are very good, or you can catch a taxi 🚖 for a little more.
We loved it so much that we have booked to return there in December.
The hotel is very well located. We had long walks on the beach. Is just 1 km-1.5 km from Aqualand and Siam Park.
The kind Romanian lady from the reception helped us book a trip to Loro Park. It was a great trip. The bus picked us up from Ole Tropical.
The food had a nice variety. We liked it.
The cleaning is done every 3 days. For us was ok.
The staff is smiling and is genuinely welcoming.
Location is fantastic you are near everything, sea view or side view of sea is incredible, events every night and entertainment team and staff extremely friendly, buffet food changes every day and is really good standard much better than I thought! Went from steak, to chops, to burgers etc every day, perfect all inclusive hotel, outdoor bar great to get drinks and chill by the pool.
The breakfast had a really good variety, even if it was the same every day, you were never getting tired of it. The rooms were really nice, specially due to having a balcony and the views were astonishing. It might be a 3 star hotel, but it felt really good to be here. If I'll even get back to Tenerife, 100% I'll stay here, the price is surprisingly good for such a good location.
Excellent location opposite the beach.
Confortable bed, spotless clean everywhere, large room with. balcony.
Excellent phonic isolation - although shows and .music every night there was no sleeping problems.
The staff very polite, friendly and helpful.
A large display of food and drinks.
I would recommend this hotel anybody to come to plays de las Americas ,playa Troya.
The apartment was perfect. There is a coffee machine and all the utensils you need. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The balcony is brilliant and the view is amazing. The location is very central to all you need in Playa de las Americas. Micheal welcomed us on arrival and he was extremely helpful. This was the best stay we had in Tenerife.
We had a Mountain View but it actually faced the Main Street and the mountains were in the distance. Sitting on balcony the street was your biggest view. Room wasn’t extremely large but fine for 2 people and you couldn’t beat the price The pool was huge and heated which we appreciated. Nice walkway on the beach behind the hotel.
The location of the hotel is excellent and the room was compact but very clean and comfortable. The pool is chilly but I would imagine in the height of the summer holidays, it will be a godsend. The food was very nice although a little repetitive, we only upgraded to the all inclusive for the last couple of days which was perfect.
Heated pool, location, the weather, cleaning ladies, helpful reception staff, large room. Just love hotel, stayed there few times and booked more future trips already. Its right on the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars outside. Right in center of everything. Excellent self-catering option. Covid safe too
Sub par staff. Staff at the restaurant, bars and reception seemed unhappy, undertrained and simply not equipped to deal with guests. It seems that they treat guest badly, like low end customers and are highly suspicious of everyone.
It’s a low end hotel, with a low end attitude to guests.
Amazing location, everything you need to see around playa de las Americas is on the doorstep of parque Santiago II. The apartment itself is clean and the facilities are up to date. The owner checked on us throughout our stay and was very accommodating.
Staff were friendly and approachable. The room was cleaned and towels provided every day. Food and drinks of all kinds readily available at all times so no chance of hunger or thirst at this hotel.
Living area was nice and comfortable, very spacious. In general Parque santiago apartments are very good and Playa de las americas is probably the nicest place on Tenerife. We will come again.
Close to the beach and restaurants, free access to the pool and private parking, which in Tenerife is a big plus. The kitchen was fully equipped and the rooms had plenty of storage space.
The location is brilliant: you come out of the hotel and access the beach. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants.
Everything was organised. Staff was super friendly and the location is very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Although the food in the hotel is fantastic!!
