The property itself is beautiful , lovely design, very cosy, warm (we stayed in april so it was important), in historical center with a possibiilty to park in front of the property. The floor with a fireplace is very romantic. Elena, the host was always online and open for all our enquires and questions. She knows good restaurants around, she let us stay till late afternoon, as she did not have guests the next day. So it was very helpful to have such a host. If we ever come back, we will stay here again. Absolutely recommend.

Picos de Europa is a stunningly scenic area especially popular with motorcyclists. Potes has an alpine feel about it and charmingly rustic. Lots of restaurants in the village and supermarkets. The roads in the area are narrow and twisty.AlecUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Potes lives up to its tag as one of the most Beautiful villages in Spain with delightful sights round every corner . Plenty of bars and restaurants , we enjoyed sampling bottles of the local cider from the novelty dispenser on the bar (see photos) in La Maison La Torre along with tasty tapas which was all reasonably priced The Casa Cayo has wonderful, friendly and efficient staff , the restaurant overlooks the river and the food looked delicious although we didn’t eat here as we had already eaten we enjoyed a few glasses of the local wine We would love to return to beautiful Potes

My family and I enjoyed every moment in Potes, can't wait to go back. It was worth the 9 hour drive and would glady do it again. Beautiful views and places to explore from morning till night. So many adventurous activities to do in potes and nearby towns. The kids enjoyed doing zip wiring and going up in the cable cars to the mountains. Lovely variety of restaurants to choose from and some with outdoor seating with lovely views. The local people were were very welcoming and helpful.Ranvir KaurSpain - 10Scored 10

Potes is an ideal base to explore the picos and is a lovely little town, had our ferry company not cancelled our original crossing on us at very short notice ( 30 minutes) we would have had an extra two days here which would have been more preferable to riding down through France on a motorway. Food and drink establishments are in abundance and you can have a very pleasant 3 course meal with a glass of wine or beer for €14 and even an expensive top end meal will only cost $25 a head with drinksDavidUnited Kingdom

The place is very beautifully decorated, charming, very clean and just a walk away from the center of Potes. The room was spacious, very comfortable with nice views I travel quiet a lot for work and the breakfast at villa Elena is better than any industrial 5stars. The perfect breakfast to start the day. There is a large private parking that accommodates cars or motorbikes

Staff downstairs at the wonderful store was nice and gave us good recommendations for eat and site visits. Definitely, the place to stay in Potes.

Nicely anointed room on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator, so keep that in mind. Staff is absolutely wonderful and goes out of their way to accommodate their guest.
