We played three public golf courses in the area with the following rating: 1. Golf Santa Ponsa 1 was the course we liked the best. Has hosted several Europen Tour events and had a nice atmosphere to it. Nice course surrounded by well maintained properties. 2. T-Golf Calvia. Very "posh" with a nice Country Club feeling. Very expensive but a very well maintained golf course. The Club house was marvellous, but the surroundings lacked some atmosphere. 3 Golfclub de Bendinat. OK golfcourse, but located in a valley where a golfcart is recommended!

Santa Ponsa is a beautiful area with a fantastic beach. The best thing we did was take a trip on the catamaran . Buses frequently to Port Andraxt which is a nice day out . Favourite place to eat was Xaloc expensive but well worth it if you want a special dining experience . What spoils Santa Ponsa is the hordes of partying groups and bad behavior from a minority of these . It is such a shame that they have allowed the above to happen, we won't be going back again .Can't recommend it for any of below

Santa Ponsa is very clean people are friendly and there is plenty to do perfect base to see the island or if you want to just relax on the beach you can. We have been going to Santa Ponsa for 12 years now and we are never short of things to do. It’s great for families couples and solo travellers there is something for everyone. Santa ponsa is quite british / Irish for us. We prefer a more Spanish vibe. We didn't find a single tapas bar however we did find restaurants that did serve tapas. The busses to palma and other towns were really good and nice to get out and explore more ethentic Spanish parts of the island.RussUnited Kingdom

It's right on the beach and gorgeously situated in the heart of Santa Ponsa and right next to local buses so you can easily get around the island. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the pool area was great. There's plenty of local amenities around to pick up water, food etc and the choice of restaurants at your doorstep was wonderful. I couldn't recommend more and will be back again in the future!

Hotel is definitely out dated but the location and sea views from the room out weighs that. Don’t walk along the street when you can walk along the beach and find many pebble coves that also take you to the main flat white Sandy beach if you prefer. Both are amazing. For the price, I wasn’t expecting it to be such a find! We’ve fallen in love with Santa Ponsa. Also a visit to near by Andratx port (€10 taxi ride) on an evening is worth it!

Good breakfast selection, nice cool pool and Jacuzzi with lots of sunloungers it also has access to go swim in the sea. Clean room which was serviced each day. The Aircon works very well however it is a little loud on top speed if your a light sleeper. Beds were firm but comfortable which is our preference. Very relaxing environment around the hotel.
