Good hotel for stopover/business. Downstairs has been recently given a facelift, hopefully rooms next.
Hotel Rey Sancho is set in the heart of historic Palencia, just 100 metres from Calle Mayor. It has a summer swimming pool, surrounded by gardens and trees.
Lovely little hotel. Very friendly efficient staff. Local/regional food (tapas) I had black pudding croquettes (delicious)
Small bar and reception was great, used by locals who were very friendly. We got everything we needed fo an overnight stay.
