The hotel is close to the town centre in just 7-10 min walking distance. Was easy to find, quick check-in, elevator worked well. Quite silent inside. Our room had a balcony - good option for smokers. Bath gel/shampoo/soap in place. Hot water all the time. Modern TV set with 24" screen. Wifi worked well.

The garden came as a surprise, its beauty, size and location, in the centre of the village. In high season it might get busy with the attraction of the large swimming pool but in April it's a peaceful oasis. The hotel is run as an extended family especially when it comes to dinner where there is a discussion as to what will be cooked. Always a culinary adventure as long as you are willing to wait until after 8:30 pm to start the meal.

Villa Gessami was spacious and well equipped. Position was quiet, with amazing birdlife around the house. We enjoyed pool, table tennis, visiting close historical Roman sites - amphitheater and aqueduct in Tarragona (only half hour from property) and beautiful Castellet Castle around the lake, placed 10 min from property. We discovered great patisseries and coffee shops in El Vendrell, only 12 minutes from the house. The owner Lluis is one of the best host we ever experienced. we highly recommend this place for larger groups, if you want to enjoy your stay around Barcelona.

Absolutely marvellous accommodation. It is very clean inside and out, The grounds are well kept, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is clean and all appliances are in good working order dishwasher washing machine etc. The hosts are very pleasant and accommodating. This place gets a 10/10 from me. It exceeded my expectations, and all in our group feels the same. I am definitely returning next year to this little gem.
