Very well situated on the edge of town just by the river. The rooms were comfortable and ours had a good view of the castle. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Bedroom was spacious and comfortable, The breakfast was amazing.
Packed with history and wine. Do your homework and you’ll get more out of trip. Many tours only offered in Spanish. For instance the castle tour portion at Peñafieli is only offered in Spanish and you can’t wander as individual. The wine museum offers English and French as well as Spanish and is self directed.

This is a tiny town that is nice as a base for visiting wineries and historic sites such as Peñafiel or the monasteries, and also for walking the path that goes along the Duero. The river is very beautiful at this point and you can go down and enjoy it. The town is very quiet. There aren’t many restaurants or bars in town, but you’re not too far away from some good places to eat.

Great service and staff. The pool was fantastic as it had jets and sprays throughout that acted as massages. There is also a connected pool outside, also with massage jets. Spa services are excellent. This is a family-owned hotel with several other special properties that they renovated to preserve their historical value. I look forward to returning ASAP
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME HERE AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN
THIS TIME WAS FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S WEDDING, IN THE HOTEL, AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.

The Place Is extraordinary and the staff super kind, always smiling giving you the best welcome. The restaurante offer a menu Rich of good food and a cuisine excellent.
The property is great to get away from it all. It’s in the middle of nowhere. However, the amenities in the little local towns where closed when we went mid week in June, if you are looking for somewhere else than the hotel lunch or dinner you make have to travel a little.
Exceptional building beautifully maintained by the foundation las Edades del Hombre, who own the building. The hotel operation is a separate matter
Breakfast is very good. Some staff are helpful and friendly. Great spa.
Wonderful location set within the old monastery. Amazing job converting the place in a luxury hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Great Clarins spa and close to most wineries
The fact that it is a remodelled monastery and part of the hotel has the old walls and look.
Swimming spa pool very nice
Food was good and parking easy. Staff attentive
The facilities and hotel are excellent. And the staff in the reception and spa area were also first-class. But to be honest I´m not sure it merits a 5 star rating
Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the thermal pool. Food was delicious. We shall definitely be back.
Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. We were upgraded, which was nice but ended up very close to the "action". Basically 2 weddings in 2 nights (friday/Saturday).
