Breakfast was the best.
Breakfast was the best. There was nothing caused us any issues. We ate in the hotel and the food was good value for money. The shopping centre next door is well worth a visit, with loads of big name shops.

Vecindario is a very uninteresting town with not much to do.
Vecindario is a very uninteresting town with not much to do. We stayed there since it was close to the airport, but I recommend Agüimes or Ingenio for the same reason, since those towns are much prettier and interesting and also about 15-20 minutes ride to the airport.

Elba Vecindario Hotel Airport was amazing!! All the staff was very friendly and professional, specially Mr Santiago, Mr Luca, Mr Angelo, Alba and Arianna. Elba is clos to the airport and the big shopping center at Vecendario. It is a nice town with many wind mills, hundreds, because it is indeed the windiest spot in Gran Canaria. Windmills to produce MegaWatts hundreds of them every hour.. all year round. Vecindario is easy town.

The town is quite large and has various centers including a large shopping mall. Quite a large area of the town is in the process of either being developed or redeveloped. We found that although there were many restaurants several were closed, those open often offered limited choice - kebab and pizza were king and of course McDonalds. The position of the town ( provided you have transport ) is great for exploring the interior and its location on the motorway provide quick access to both north and south of the island. The kitchen was fully equipped including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, microwave and toaster. The double bedroom has an ensuite and the 2 other bedrooms are spacious and share a communal shower room/toilet. The apartment was clean but a little tired although this is reflected in the price. We stayed in Vecindario as the motorcycle hire company is based here.VincentUnited Kingdom

It's well located for exploring the island by car, in 30 minutes tops you can reach all the coast tourist locations from Las Palmas down to Port Mogan. Soap in the bathroom, towels in the room. For sake we based a rental car as the airport shuttle wasn’t available due to holidays. We can easily find parking in front of the hotel and didn’t have to pay 10 euros for the underground parking. Enjoyed working on the balcony and dinning on outside. The rooms is fully equipped, the only thing missing is the washing machine. The staff are very nice.
