We were very well looked after. Taxi arranged to get us back to Porto. I forgot my bag (with crucial medication in it) and the manager found it and drove 20km to give it back to me before I’d even realised! So much kindness!

Prime location. Historical building with character. Very spacious, comfortable room with a few bay windows opening onto a balcony overlooking the marina and the promenade. Great views. Surprisingly, a central heating was turned on at night and the temperature inside was very pleasant.

Breakfast was better than any I’ve had while traveling! The fresh orange juice was amazing too. The facilities were superior to anywhere I had stayed in the last 3 weeks…

Lovely clean room, small, with a view out to sea which was lovely.
The weather was cold and wet so we couldn’t utilise the outdoor area which look pleasant.
