The cabin and the surrounding area were very quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. We really had excellent privacy here, although there is another cabin close to Luppo (it was unoccupied during our stay). Everything had been cleaned nearly spotless clean for us. The cabin had all the comforts one typically would need on a cabin vacation: a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, a coffee machine, a microwave, an oven, plenty of dishes, cooking pots and cutleries, a TV, a spacious sauna, both indoor and oudoor fireplaces for grilling and cooking, a swimming place at the nearby pond and finally, two balconies with chairs and tables for the two floors. The location was excellent for visiting the Pallastunturi and Hetta areas, but there were hiking trails nearby too. Checking in and checking out were very flexible, thanks to a keybox with a code for getting and leaving the keys. The local person responsible for the cabin and the keys was easy to reach and gave excellent customer support when needed.

Located in Muonio, Lomamaja Pekonen Apartments are within walking distance to shops and services. You can enjoy free WiFi access and a peaceful setting during you stay.

Was met with a nice welcome. When entered the cabin it was warm and so super clean. The cabin had everything we needed for a night stay, but suits for even longer stays. Beds were so comfortable. The sauna was such a bonus. The shower had high pressure, which is always nice😊 It felt very like home.
