The peaceful Lapland Hotel Riekonlinna is 500 metres from Saariselkä village, right next to Urho Kekkonen National Park. Guests can enjoy free sauna admission and access to excellent skiing. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, variety of choices, the room was great, the view from the room as well, and the atmosphere in the hotel was amazing, we loved every minute of our stay in this place. It’s a great value for money. It’s the best hotel in the area.

Located in Saariselkä, Wilderness Hotel Muotka & Igloos offers a wide selection of different accommodations. I have stayed in the Aurora hut and it was amazing. The Room was clean, it had a sauna which I was not aware of so it was a great surprise. It was warm inside although outside was -25. There also was a little champagne bottles in the room which is a lovely extra touch. The staff was friendly and the food in breakfast area was great. 10/10 recommending. P.S. We were lucky to see auroras too!

Located on top of Kaunispää Mountain, Star Arctic Hotel is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. What a sight to behold. The staffs especially Nette was incredible. Super helpful and always giving us options. But the night we had there were amazing. Could not have asked for more. We booked the aurora cabin and it was the best stay ever !

Located a 15-minute drive from central Saariselkä, this hotel features rooms with mountain views of Kiilopää or Ahopää. It offers free sauna access and a relaxation room with a library and fireplace. We loved the clean comfortable rooms and being able to walk out the door of our room to the national park. Rentals were easily available for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow biking. Breakfast was varied and lovely. Truly magical trip!

This peaceful hotel is situated next to Urho Kekkonen National Park, less than 30 minutes’ drive from Ivalo Airport. Guests enjoy free sauna facilities and access to cross-country skiing tracks. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are modern with a Lapland twist. We stayed in a room with a sauna, and both the room and the sauna were gorgeous. On top of all of this their customer service was amazing! Highly recommend the hotel to everyone wishing to stay in Saariselkä.

Aurora Collection features free WiFi and views of mountain in Saariselka. Among the various facilities of this property are ski-to-door access and a ski pass sales point. We had the most wonderful stay at this resort! Besides the great Spa Cabin which has a Sauna, Jacuzzi and spectacular views and surroundings, we were thrilled by the AMAZING hospitality of Juuso and Nicky! They went beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. Never experienced something like this before (even though I am an extreme traveller). We will come back for sure!

This property is surrounded by excellent ski areas in Saariselkä, Finnish Lapland. It offers spacious apartments in cosy wooden buildings, free parking and free Wi-Fi internet access. The breakfast buffet was SUPERB! Selection and quality were exquisite. Scrambled eggs were delicious, everything was delicious! I work as a manager in cleaning/housekeeping for the past 20 years, and I was impressed with cleanliness and how well the apartment was maintained. The facility and amenities were over the top, everything from an axe to a sauna was in our apartment. Fully and well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, everything to make a great and pleasant stay was provided. Fire place was so nice and gave extra atmosphere to the whole trip. We loved the non-commercial and laid-back atmosphere that could be felt everywhere. Pool and facilities were so nice, clean and well maintained. All kudos to the entire staff!
