Very nice resort with the igloos and the snowhotel. Nice snow and ice sculptures, make sure you wear more layers when you visit the snowhotel and the ice bar!
Reception and sauna staff were great. Provided a complimentary dinner on the 24th when the other restaurants were closed.
The ice sauna and jacuzzi was a really special experience, well worth the price, included use of a private standard sauna as well.
There were 2 reindeers as well that you could feed and free use of their toboggans, kick sledges and snow tubes!
Staying in one of the glass igloo was one of my dream. I loved it. We weren't very lucky as it was very cloudy so we didn't see the northern lights but we still enjoyed our stay very much. We booked the snowmobile excursion for the morning, we had a nice lunch and then we booked the private sauna and jacuzzi. The dinner we got at the restaurant was very good as well. After the check out we were also able to visit for free the ice hotel.
Definitely I would recommend it.
It was by far the best experience of my life ! We started by visiting the ice-snow hotel, then we had a delicious traditional finish dinner at Kota Restaurant, went for a drink in the ice bar and we finally ended by sleeping in a igloo.
It was cold but the sleeping bags provided helped a lot ! And we also could see auroras !! Staff is super kind so really dont miss this experience
- inside of Ice Hotel was a masterpiece. Each room has different theme and ice carvings
- warm sleeping bags and cozy reindeer fur on the beds
- delicious elk and salmon in Ice Restaurant
- aurora alarm worked
- reindeers walking outside the reception hall
- heated toilet and locker room in case someone gets too cold during the night
- finnish sauna
We stayed in a glass igloo which was a cool experience. The ice hotel is great to see and the transfer service to the airport for €20p/p is much cheaper than any taxi service if in a couple. The aurora alarm is a great idea and it went off outside of the usual time for aurora activity so it ensures you don't miss them!
Because we were staying in a glass igloo, we got access to the ice exhibitions and ice bar, which were both fun. Also the beds were adjustable and the shower was nice. It didn't come into play during our stay, but they did have an alarm service that wakes you when an aurora appears.
the hotel is secluded. u will need transport. hotel breakfast was OK but the dinner was overpriced and the taste is not up to par. love their aurora alarm. it sounded twice and we glad to c it twice in a night. by the way, from the aurora activity site there was no activity.
Igloo stay was nice, warm and comfortable. Staff are lovely. We were there when they were building the snow hotel, which was interesting and they provide a video showing you how its done. Staff communicated well via booking chat. Breakfast was great with wide selection.
I loved the coziness of the igloo. We didn't see any Northern Lights during our stay and the Ice Hotel was not yet finished, but overall it was a pleasant stay.
The family igloo, cleanliness and comfort of the whole igloo. Free entrance to the ice hotel for over night guests. The free sledging behind the hotel.
The igloo was super cute, warm and comfortable. Loved being able to tour the ice hotel and explore all the rooms, which was so cool. Amazing breakfast.
