We booked at very short notice, the staff were very accommodating, our room was ready for us and was really clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant also did delicious food and drinks!

We used the village of Asnelles as a base in the middle of the Normandy beach landings of 1944, everything is well signposted, the satnav did the rest, enough restaurants were open during March to find food, however Carrefour Supermarkets and fuel stations are local. If your going to visit the 1944 exhibitions do your home work first, plan each days activities but leave time to go off on any adventure you might find enroute.

This is a good Hotel to stay at if you are visiting the war museums and beaches as it was central to everything. The Hotel itself is basic but clean and comfortable with good staff who are willing to help you. The Hotel car park is large so no worries about not having a parking space if coming back late in the evening. We would recommend a visit to Bayeux as it was only 12 minutes drive from the Hotel and was a lovely place to see with some fabulous restaurants.

Small village surrounded by the landing beaches Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. Traveling to all the sights is possible within 40 minutes.
Walking from Asnelles to Arromanches over the beach and climb back over the hills is fun. Bayeux is a bigger town, nice to vissit. Artisanal shops and impressive cathedral.
This hotel needs an overhaul, the accommodation was very tired. Our air con did not work, plug sockets coming away from the wall and a lot of black mould on the bathroom tile grout. The photos give a good idea of the room size, but it’s all in need of a revamp.
The staff were friendly when checking in and helpful when we asked for additional fans.
The beds were clean and comfortable and if all you need is some where to crash after a day out on the D-day beaches the location is excellent with secure parking.
Lovely place, right on a beautiful, sandy and quiet beach with amazing views right across the bay and the Mulberry harbours. Perfect location to explore the landing beaches and the various museums and memorials as well as Bayeux. Asnelles is a quiet little town with a couple of restaurants and shops, including a great little bakery and patisserie.
Location is very quiet and has a beautiful garden. Cottage thoughtfully renovated and a very short walk from Asnelles beach and restaurants. Easy safe parking and lovely host. Good facilities overall. Appreciated that the host was very attentive to my requests and made a larger bed up for my tall son. He was very comfortable in the roof.
Well equipped, newly renovated villa very close to the beaches and facilities of Asnelles. Has everything you need for a pleasurable stay in the area. Large outside areas to park car as well as sit outside. Location very quiet and away from the main road. Yohann was a very good host and answered our communications very quickly.
The location is superb and staff are wonderful. Receptionist was very helpful and kind, the cleaners were working hard clearing rooms on all days we were present, all staff were very polite. Working lift was excellent for the disabled member of our party, lovely early black and white photos of Asnelles along the corridors.
Friendly, helpful receptionist. Clean room with large, comfortable bed in a "sleeping loft". Decent restaurant very close by. Generous continental breakfast.
An ideal hotel for a short stay in the D Day beach area.
Very comfortable beds! Location near D-Day is perfect. The hotel is a bit outdated, but considering the price and friendliness, it was a good place to sleep after a day out and about.
The hotel was located in a beautiful little village close to the beach and other amenities. The staff were accommodating but it was impossible to get a wheelchair accessible room.
Could of had English speaking staff, communication was poor given the location of the hotel and the visitors it would attract because of the ww2 historical area
