We were made incredibly welcome by firstly Francois and then later by Dan. Both of whom continued to make our two night stay really pleasant. We were there to look at a property and we were given great local information and guidance from both.
Hotel is "quirky" with its Convent history and once you know this the decor makes total sense.
Room was a really good size, clean and a nice view of the Abbey.
Food was good , wholesome and plentiful prepared by Dan himself. (we didn't do breakfast but it was offered)!
Location is just perfect for exploring the village and the surrounding area.
Oh and the local "Fanny's" beer served was fabulous!!

Great place to relax in the countryside and self-cater, we had our own kitchen but the tariff also included a lovely breakfast prepared by Helen each morning. The room was a very decent size, with high ceilings and a great bathroom. It also has a lovely balcony where we could sit for meals, reading and aperos. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

We stumbled upon this hotel in a moment of dire need. My colleague had fallen terribly ill during our journey. To our delight, the hotel administrator happened to be a warm-hearted woman who showed us such genuine care: she brought extra blankets and even a kettle to help comfort us. We are truly touched by her thoughtfulness and kindness. The hotel itself is nestled conveniently along the road, offering a cozy haven for travelers in transit. Room looked out on trees, quiet, friendly staff: we arrived very early and were given our room immediately - that made a big difference. The restaurant was good with very good service. Lovely walk along the river next to the hotel.
Lovely small rural town centred on the Abbaye. Town has recently attracted a small Carrefour supermarket which has helped to revitalise the town as a local shopping area. The town centre has all the "local" shops and appears to be thriving again.
Perfect position to explore the local countryside. Peaceful and calm with easy access to the larger towns and the major road network.
Hotel was on the edge of the town, within 300 metres of the main Square and the Abbaye, peaceful and calm.
