It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end...
It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

A nice small town made famous by the taking of the Benouville Bridge by the British Airborne glider section in WW2 (renamed Pegasus Bridge for the badge of the regiment). Excellent museum and visit the local cemetery as many WW2 British soldiers who were KIA rest there.IanAustralia

On arrival the young lady on reception/bar and restaurant, was very helpful. She showed me the room , it was such a lovely room , spacious, luxurious and full of character. Would highly recommend it for its location , staff politeness and willingness to please , nothing seemed to be a problem ....☆☆☆☆☆

The hotel had a stale musty smell which was off putting, but the bedding was clean and the bed comfortable. We were able to leave the window open with mesh curtain across which helped. The room was quite dated. Didn’t eat at the restaurant due to our first impression so cannot comment on this.TonyUnited Kingdom

The hotel was easy to find, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had dinner in the evening which was delicious and very well presented. We will definitely stay here again.
