Great location for the ferry. Enjoyable breakfasts buffet, although not a huge range of options. The room was perfect for us. Lovely garden.

Mathieu was a wonderful host, friendly and accommodating. Knowledgeable and helpful. Good restaurant recommendations. We were on a cycle tour and the storage was excellent. A great city center location but also a quiet area. Good breakfast too. Chic modern decor. A good, and big, bed A real joy all round.

It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

A nice small town made famous by the taking of the Benouville Bridge by the British Airborne glider section in WW2 (renamed Pegasus Bridge for the badge of the regiment). Excellent museum and visit the local cemetery as many WW2 British soldiers who were KIA rest there.
As a solo traveller doing everything d day , I was looking for another typical French hotel not a international chain , in a quaint location but near to sword beach and pegasus bridge . On arrival the young lady on reception/bar and restaurant, was very helpful. She showed me the room , it was such a lovely room , spacious, luxurious and full of character. Would highly recommend it for its location , staff politeness and willingness to please , nothing seemed to be a problem ....☆☆☆☆☆
Comfortable room. Good car parking and close to Ferry Terminal for our return to GB. However, what makes this hotel is the outstanding restaurant. Good choice of menus and the best steak we had on our holiday. We stayed here last year and nothing has changed. Friendly and helpful staff. Also walking distance to Pegasus Bridge and less than ten minutes from ferry terminal
Location - excellent for catching early morning Caen (Ouistreham) ferry. Comfortable room with everything you need in a hotel with "kerb appeal". The hotel restaurant has very good reviews, but actually we drove into Ouistreham which is an attractive port with many inviting reasonably-priced eateries.
Very sterile hotel. No bar facility. Either have your drink in your room or outside (even though it was raining) Can’t sit inside……even in the area away from the restaurant???? Cancelled our dinner reservation and went to Manoir Hastings where the staff were very accommodating.
The staff were great sorted out the problem with booking the restaurant was closed for a wedding so try to find a place to eat was hard we got ripped of by the taxi that was ordered by the hotel to take us a place to eat .
