Location excellent. Lovely to walk the ramparts with our dog. Breakfast in the room was very good. Dinner was excellent as was the sommelier. She recommended a very nice bottle of wine.

This an exceptional place to stay from the peace & quiet of the location, the facilities (so clean and well thought through) to the fantastic dinner cooked by Sebestien and the perfect hostessing from Sandrine. This is our second visit and it won't be the last. We had travelled through Switzerland, Italy, Corsica and France over the past 3.5 weeks, and this was our last stop. The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained and the courtyard is lovely - we didn't get much of a chance but it would be nice to sit outside in the sun with a drink.
The chap on the front desk was charming and very helpful, as was the night Porter.
We enjoyed the sauna in the room, but note it does take a good hour to heat up properly! And needed to be switched on by the manager when we arrived, so do ask.
