Very friendly proprietor who made us feel very welcome. Plenty of parking. The room was great, full of character and very comfortable and there was a bath!

Small hotels can offer big rewards to clients: special service. When my husband and I checked into Hotel Henri IV after a long, dusty day's cycling with heavy panniers, two I’ve cold waters were produced and 15 mins later two espressos and two delicate macrons were brought to our room by the charming receptionist. As often with such establishments space was limited, yet, whoah,  In the centre of our ensuite room was a 4-poster bed, something I have always wanted to try (how cosy it would be on a chilly night). Everything worked well and was hygienic; the undercover bicycle storage was secure and the location central.

We go to this hotel often, maybe over the last 10 years, as it is at a convenient stopping off place for going further south, the owners are very welcoming, the food is great, and the location on the Loire is ideal.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room had great views. Only downside was that we had to walk in to town for dinner and there was no bar service. Possibly too early in the season

We stayed there only one night. Arrived very late, and check out at morning, but for this stay it was very nice. Specially the breakfast is high class, cause the owners prepare a lot of dishes (like cackes, jams) by themselves, so You can appreciate french culture a bit. We could really feel the hard work that the owners put to make us feel welcomed.
