What a magnificent property in an amazing location! You enter through gates to a spectacular garden and conveniently positioned parking. When you go through the front door, you are faced with a magnificent staircase (I'm a carpenter and wood nerd, and actually booked this location partly because of the staircase)
The room we used was fabulous, with views across the garden. Very comfortable bed, etc.
Breakfast was delicious. I'd happily stay here again.

the staff was very friendly, indeed. The room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed the cheese platter as well as their hot appetisers (especially when you had a sumptuous luncheon, elsewhere and really only want to have something to nibble).

This hotel was a delight! We had a beautiful, quirky room in the attic. The check-in was easy, and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. the location could not have been better - just a few minutes walk to the chateau, and to several restaurants. We'd definitely go back there again!

Lovely hotel in quiet location close to the centre of a beautiful town. Well placed for town amenities and exploring local chateaux.
Hotel had its own small car park at the front.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely French windows and small balcony.
No evening meals but loads of lovely restaurants couple of minutes away and owner gave us good recommendations.
Breakfast was very good in a nice dining room.
Staff were lovely - friendly and professional.
Great value.

The proprietress was so energetic and welcoming but balanced with respect. She greeted us, showed us our room and left us to rest. The dinner restaurant was excellent as well. The food was great with a vegetarian/pescatarian option. We got the three course meal and it was both delicious and beautiful. Again, the staff was so helpful and welcoming. They even have a couple of friendly but distant hotel cats. You are literally yards from the chateau as well and the village gets quiet and peaceful in the evening. They have a safe place to lock your bikes and there's a small grocery down the street if you are bike touring.
