tranquil setting, blissfully quiet.Room opened directly onto the grounds - unfortunately bad weather prevented us enjoying our patio table and chairs. Well-run restaurant, great food.

We stayed in the L'Orangerie room. We had an exceptional stay! Our room overlooked the pasture of 2 beautiful grazing horses. The apartment was clean, beautiful and peaceful.
There is nothing to do or see in Cangey itself. The Cottages are located outside Fleuray, an other and even smaller and emptier village on a small 9 holes course, with no driving range, synthetic grass tee boxes and greens, with no par 5 and a very short par 3 requiring a lob wedge. Don't see any reason to play it twice.
Amboise is a nice touristic city in the neighborhood, but 25 ton30 min drive away.
We had a great experience at Le Fleuray! First off, dinner and breakfast were amazing. The hotel was located in a quiet area perfect for a restful holiday, but still close enough to most of the major chateaux. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and we also loved the decor, a little old fashioned, but so so soso cute and charming. Just all around the most lovely and comfortable place we stayed at on our Loire valley trip!
We were up graded on arrival which was lovely.
The room was spacious, sumptuous, with fabulous views.
Dinner was wonderful, great food and helpful, friendly service.
My partner left his wallet in the room. This was not discovered for a few days. The wallet was found and held securely in the office. The hotel were very helpful in arranging its return.
Hotel has character. Comfortable room. Swimming pool area is great. Lovely dining area- dining outside watching the hot air balloons in the distance is a great way to end the day. Best variety for breakfast we saw on our fortnight holiday
the hotel is easy to access by car. it is surrounded by fields which gives you a holiday feel. it has swimming pool and jacuzzi. the food in the restaurant is good but no surprise. we also like the room and friendly staff there.
Lovely hotel in a rural location, not far from the autoroute on my journey south to the Pyrenees. Very quiet. particularly enjoyed the restaurant which, for a rural hotel was first class. Well done!
This privately family owned and run hotel shows and attention to detail and care that you don't always get in a big 'chain' Everyone very friendly and helpful.
