Location near the castle, so very close, is brilliant. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Rooms were luxurious. Beds were good and breakfast was excellent. Parking very close to the hotels apart from the visitiors of the chateau a pleasant service, avoiding having to look for a free spot.

We loved everything about our stay in Chateau des Grotteaux. The interior design of the place, surroundings and the hospitality was really impeccable. Especially they have a well decorated and equipped Salon. Here you can have a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. The man at the receipt is very friendly, introduce us the good restaurants nearby. Furthermore, he has a nice cat! The parking is also convenient. but if you drive here, pay attention to the board leading you to the parking lot. You cannot directly drive in from the front door on the Google map, the car entrance is in a lateral small street

Was surprised to find such a nice hotel in that small village, Few rooms but mine was nicely set, well renovated with a huge bathroom, clean and confortable, quiet even with windows on the road. The great plus is that you are above the 1 star Michelin restaurant so you are sure to spend a great evening. Also near to Chambord, so great location for the Loire valley chateaux. Great value considering the reasonable price of the room.
