I was worried about insects. I actually saw one in the toilet but it came from behind the heater. I think even if you're very carefu in cleaning it's hard to detect those. So, I wouldn't blame them. I think in total the house keeping does an amazing work. The quality of the rooms are very high and I definitely give them credit for that. I think they are sound proof as my stay was very peaceful and quiet. The beds are comfortable. The house keeping also cleans the room very well. I think in general it is absolutely a good choice.

This conveniently located hotel, easy to reach from any place in Paris, allowed me to have a very comfortable, quiet, clean room for a budget price. While other hotels were so expensive, with this this hotel Porte de Bercy I could afford to stay in Paris. The food for breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious, in large and airy rooms. I recommend it to tourist so they can sleep well and do not burn a hole in their wallet

Good point is the shopping centre but it seems to be on the verge of closing down. Pärking underneath the hotel is shared with the centre and there are loads of spaces available for a reasonable amount of 12 euros from midnight to midday. Unfortunately that's all there is to say, the place is extremely difficult to get to with the signage not very clear, even with satnav. Traffic is horrendous and if you miss your junction you have to go all the way round the system again. Good point is that an Uber will cost only about 9 euros to get you to Porte Dorée area where there are lots of interesting things to see and visit. Charenton le Pont is too remote for anyone wanting to do touristy things.

Stayed there due to a conference close to the area. Otherwise would not recommend. The rooms and building in general are quite old and the service was inadequate at times, particularly when it comes to the variety of options for room service. There is a superb bakery though very close as you exit the hotel. Also it was thankfully close to Liberte metro station making transport convenient. Really close to centre, you basically need to take 24 bus end maybe change with another to reach fast and easy the attractions in the city. Reception is really helpful and loved that the checkout was at 12, gives you more time to rest and prepare yourself to leave. They also have a restaurant option and a vending machine. The hotel location was perfect, safe and easily reachable by bus 24 (most of the buses and RER in Paris are accessible). The hotel itself has more than three good size elevators (which make them accessible to wheelchair) The breakfast was very basic but the croissants were specially delicious and you could choose to eat at the regular ibis’s breakfast hall instead of ibis budget for more variety of food.
