The hotelier was very pleasant & helpful. The hotel is up a very large hill and as we arrived by bike on a day when the hotel restaurant was closed, she drove us to a local restaurant and arranged a taxi for our return journey!

The heart of the Swiss Normand, Clécy is a pretty, though unspectacular large village/small town, set in beautiful countryside. For us, it was an overnight stop on a cycle tour, so apart from a brief morning stroll, we didn't really fully experience what the area had to offer, as we were passing through.

Perfect location in Clécy, halfway up slope between river and village. Selection of good riverside restaurants 5 minutes walk, plus more in village. Easy to get to voie verte (cycling holiday). We were able to store bikes overnight in cellar, which also contained a large refrigerator for guests. The Suisse Normande is a beautiful area and not overrun by tourists like us!

The owner is charming and so helpful in everyway and I fell in love with their gorgeous Labrador Cookie! Breakfast is so generous, home made preserves, home made cakes, pastries, yogurts.
