Hotel Du Cheval Blanc, hotel in Cléder

In the heart of Saint-Pol-de-Léon in northern Brittany, this hotel is within walking distance of the marina and the beach. It is located 50 km from Brest Airport.

Right in the centre of this historic town, Le Cheval Blanc was a hidden gem and the whole town a wonderful surprise. The hotel provides free parking for clients and then everywhere is in walking distance. The owners are welcoming and charming along with Ruby their dog. A very good breakfast-more than we needed. We stayed in one of the tent/cabins it was quite secluded as there were only 2 other tents/pods in the same area and they were not visable from our cabin. The grounds were pretty flat and the forest had a lot of interesting things in it to look for based on of the info cards etc dotted around. Shower is attached tot the main house so is a bit of a trek but not a problem also it was lovely and hot. Breakfast was good arrived in a wicker basket to your door in the morning. Town is a short drive no more than 5 minutes and has a supermarket and local ameneties and shops/cafes best bit for us is the ferry is 20 minutes away . Worst bit, the ECO loo.......enough said :)
