Lovely view from the bedroom window over the rooftops of the village. Adequate parking nearby. Good breakfast. Fascinating photographs and paintings throughout the house and a knowledgeable and interesting host.

Welcoming gite d'etape with a buzzing terrace cafe - quite a surprise after emerging from the empty hills - very friendly proprietor and family. Took care of me as the sole overnight guest that night and the sole evening diner - though the place is big and surely handles large numbers at other times. Attractive setting by a lake. Not remote enough to be a mountain refuge but high enough to attract a lot of walkers and cyclists. Cold water and cold beer welcome after cycling the Col des Pailheres in July.

We stayed here for one night to watch the Tour de France and everything was excellent. The gite was very clean and very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. There is a little general store just a few minutes walk away with fresh bread and lots of local produce. The garden is lovely with a wonderful view of the hills above and in a peaceful location. The only thing we regretted was not booking for another night.

What we liked the most about Mohair des Alpy is the warm welcome and the friendliness of the owners Eric and Marie-Laure. They told us all about the region they live in, and are obviously very proud of! They gave us great ideas for hiking and sightseeing in the area. They are obvioulsy very proud of their herd of angora goats, which are very cute and lovely to have around. We enjoyed the location of the B&B, very quiet, the only thing you hear at night are the owls! Peace and quiet all around. The use of a fully equipped kitchen is certainly a plus, since there are not that many restaurants in the area.
