The room was clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was fine, although would be nice to have something hearty instead of only sweet options. The location was great, less than 5 min walk from the train station. The bathroom was tiny & boatlike, but clean & the shower was great! The kitchenette was perfect for our needs.

Nice private room, clean and with coffee/ tea. Stayed there over easter, the owners seem to have taken off themselves (which is fine). There is a deposit box for the keys.

Able to leave car at the hotel car park and walk the short distance to the town. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Corsica, the bed linen high quality, the building itself is old and has real character.
However the best thing of all is the breakfast spread, its superb, especially liked the home made yogurt!
Would definitely recommend this hotel. I believe it's family run and it shows.

Corte is a good place to do some hiking as the mountains and hills are stunning. We found the people in Corte were not as friendly as other places in Corsica we visited- which does make a differnce!
Personally I would skip Corte and stay longer somewhere else (Porto or Calvi were exceptional)

A really scenic town in a dramatic mountain setting.
A really scenic town in a dramatic mountain setting. Restonica Gorges are within a short distance and highly recommended for the 45 minute drive up and then 45 minute drive back down again as it has amazing scenery. The train station is a great point to get the scenic mountain railway to Vizzavona from - but be aware that the trains are pretty infrequent and during October there are absolutely no facilities at Vizzavona open - no toilets, drinks or snacks available. And you might have an hour and a half wait there for the return train !!

We passed through twice in our travels. The first time we saw the fortress and museum which helped a lot in understanding the country and culture. The second time we used it as a sight to see other places in the area, like the Vallee Restonica.

The city is a center for hiking that has a lot of energy provided by the five thousand university students. You can get here by the train from Bastia, Calvi or Ajaccio. We ate at the Trattoria both nights we were there. The table for two at the very back is best, both of you get a cushioned bench and the servers don’t need to get by you.

A rather forbidding looking but characterful old town, right in the centre of Corsica. Good for access to scenic mountains.
We took a 40 min. train trip through the mountains to Vivazzone and back.
A good meal at A Casa de l'Orsu.

The best thing for me was the walk from Corte along the Tavignano gorge. Stunning scenery. But I had difficulty findng the start.
A detailed map at the apartment would have helped.
There were so many eating places to choose from. I only ate out once and it was disappointing.
Although I called the host who was helpful, I couldn't get wi fi.
Corte is a really relaxed town, full of character and interest.
As an artist I loved the Contemporary Art museum , esp its location. And was intrigued to see the plaques showing Escher's drawings there.
This is a classic hotel with so much character! Worn stone steps up to reception, plenty of dark woodwork, generous room size. So much nicer for a holiday than an anodyne chain hotel.
We were pleased to see it was well-used by the cycling fraternity and the hotel dedicated a space off a second-floor landing for cycle storage.
And any number of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.
From the location of the hotel its easy to access the centre via a beautiful bridge (10min walk) Since its not in the middle of the centre its easy to park your car and its near the train station and other facilities (supermarket) and its free from street noise. The staff is friendly and the hotel offers great value for good prices. The pool is great after a warm day around the city of Corte.
The appearance of the building is not good, but that should not bother you.
The studio is very good. I recommended. There you will feel like real Corsicans.
It has everything you needed.
The price was very good.
There is a free parking lot next to it, but with big holes and it was suitable for a SUV. Our car was low so we parked just outside the town. That wasn't a problem for us.
Pascal was a wonderful host. The unit has everything you need but is small. The outdoor seating makes a big difference. It is in a residential area, but close to the train station where there is a market and a wonderful bakery. Corte is a beautiful town and while there are not any great views from the units, they surround you everywhere else.
Great and welcoming host, who shared with us the story of Corsican people and their history - for which we are very grateful. Breakfast was excellent, nice surroundings and garden, mountains in the back, forest in the front...just a short ride away from the beautiful city of Corti (not Cort! :) - the heart of Corsica
We enjoyed the location far away from the very touristy city of Corte. It was quiet and very peaceful. Patrick, the man who runs the place was very kind and a good conversationalist. Our room was located up a steep wood ladder-like going up into a treehouse. Breakfast was adequate-homemade jams.
This is a spectacular find in Corte. It’s as lovely as the photos and with that stunning view. It is new, well cared for and super well equipped. It’s very quiet as it’s at up a hill at the edge of modern town, yet not far to bakery and a huge supermarket. Kevin was welcoming and attentive.
Excellent location in the centre of Corte. All main sights within 10 minutes' walk from hotel. We did not have breakfast at hotel as there were lots of restaurants and bakeries 5 minutes walk away.
Train station short 8 minute walk from hotel.
Room very clean. Would stay here again.
The location on the river and within the valley was exceptional, peaceful and gorgeous. The room/bed/bathroom were perfect and the hotel itself was cozy and luxurious. The restaurant was beautiful and the food the best we had in Corte!
The location is fantastic, the hotel is modern and clean with great interior design. The breakfast was great with lots of home made produce. There’s a restaurant next door which serves great food in a nice ambience.
Beautiful location, tasteful decoration, friendly host, amazing mountain view, comfortable bed and facilities, quiet and walking distance from the city center. Couldn't have found a better place to stay in Corte!
best value for money we had in corsica. first time we thought 100e are worth it. loved the apartment! fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, awesome balcony, 2 air conditioners, great bed, rrally clean,...
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was updated, quiet, and very comfortable. Great location to explore the heart of Corte with easy pay parking nearby (free is just a bit further away).
Very nice surroundings with beautiful nature. Hotel is at the perfect location for exploring the island. It is tastefully decorated, clean, great pool for the relaxing time during the day.
The location on the river was beautiful. Close to a short easy hike and a short drive to town. Loved our dinner at the hotel, delicious food and great coffee in the morning
The lovely swimming pool was the best thing about this hotel plus the cleanliness and model design. The one staff member we met was very friendly and helpful.
for a one night stand the hotel is decent, the beds are OK, the location is not far from center, however it is on the hill - so requires some harder walk.
