Friendly staff, really good location being just a short walk from the train station. Easy to find. Sens is beautiful. Shops and restaurant options locally. Lovely flower beds with three different colours of forget-me-nots. It just had a nice "feel" to it.
I came back to the UK and said that if I ever decided to move to France it would probably be to Sens. However, with a cat, two dogs, three Cayuga ducks, 16 chickens and 18 alpacas plus a number of greenhouses, a move abroad would be just too challenging. I have some lovely river photos to remember Sens though.

Simple, nicely decorated room, with car park in front of the door. There is a restaurant next door but I did not try it as I arrived late and it was busy. You might want to book a table there. The staff was lovely.
