Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants. There was a good size wardrobe with hanging space and ample shelves which was within the wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities and ample sockets. The room overlooked the place duguesclin where there is plenty of parking and there is also parking in front of Hotel. The hotel is ideally situated to explore Dinan and there are many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance
