Loic (the owner’s son in law) was brilliant and did a great job of welcoming us to the property, which although simple, is well located as a stopover the other side of the Eurotunnel. It’s also nicely located to explore the coastal town of Boulogne Sur Mer. The garden (although you have to access down the stairs and from the outside gate) is large and fantastic and was the perfect place for our dog to let off some steam.

This hotel is situated a 5 minutes by car from the A16 motorway and a 10-minute drive from Boulogne-sur-Mer city centre. All the rooms are equipped with a TV and a private bathroom with a shower.

The family room was just what was required. The double bed was a nice size. The shower was good and powerful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptionally good.

Hotel Les Jardins d'Hardelot is just 600 metres from the beach in the resort town of Hardelot-Plage. The hotel also offers sauna and a Turkish bath, available with an extra cost.

Room was very spacious and with a small balcony had a pleasant view out to the gardens at the rear. Breakfast was excellent value for money with a very wide selection to choose from including local cheeses, fresh honey from the comb, hot food and a lovely selection of breads and pastries. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Private parking was a boon.

Hotel Clery is located in the Hesdin-L'abbe, just 10 km from the beaches of the Opal Coast. It has a gourmet restaurant. The Clery offers rooms and suites equipped with a TV and private bathroom.
