This hotel is ideal when travelling to and from Spain for a stopover. It is always very clean and comfortable and we always get a pleasant welcome from reception staff. It’s good value for money and we have no complaints. We weren’t able to contact the hotel direct but that wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was good and real value for money.
The hotel is ideally located in Evreux and offers air-conditioned accommodations, equipped with free Wi-Fi. Guests are invited to relax on the furnished terrace, with a drink from the bar.

Room was clean staff were excellent, breakfast was good
Stay away from this hotel. Total nightmare. Rubbish thrown out of all windows, dirty and run-down rooms. It was like a staging post for Africans to get to the UK. Our room, unmade beds, someone slept in there the night. before. The only staff member we saw, couldn't care less. Gave us another room, sink blocked and full of urine. Staff member said he would sort it out in 5 mins. Never saw him again. No one from 4pm (staff) appeared to be in the building. No security, no main door locked at 10pm, car park not locked overnight. Very noisy, dirty, just awful. Couldn't wait to leave. Drug takers in the doorways. Utter nightmare. Never ever again will I use this chain of hotels.

This was nicely between Versailles, Rouen (where properties seemed a lot more expensive) and Giverny (for Monet's Garden) so was a great base for discovering Normandy.
Evreux itself exceeded expectations, with a vibrant restaurant scene, a beautiful cathedral and a tidy and well presented Town Centre. There was a multiplex cinema, theatre and Arts Centre.

We’ve lived in France for quite some time now and stayed in lots of towns and cities in lots of hotels and Évreux is one of the best cities. Fabulous atmosphere day and night, amazing selection of restaurants and cafes and great architecture. Easy to walk around and the river running right through the centre of the town adds a very special touch... get a glass of wine or a cold beer outside the London Pub and watch the folk go by. Perfect!
The place is a beautiful witness of a bit of French history, with surprisingly large rooms, beautiful gardens, swimming pool and horses, and the price is really accessible. Its such a calm place, a few minutes away from Evreux city center (we had our car with us) if you are traveling as a family? You can’t here a noise from next room so if you need a peaceful couples moment you can certainly have it. This place is a must! Merci Philippe pour ton hospitalité, c’était un séjour de rêve.
This is a classic old French city centre hotel, opposite the railway station. Things are a little 'worn', but it was perfect for one overnight. Limited free parking is available, which is a bonus, and breakfast – typically French – was excellent, the croissants were still warm from the boulangerie! The extra bonus, of course, is the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral just down the road, a magnificent building.
This was the second B&B in this chain we booked for a drive through France after having trouble finding the first one we were aware to look for the logo on the building rather than where the satnav took us as it is on an industrial park on the opposite side of the road next to a steak restaurant. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable just right for an overnight stop.
This was my first (and last) experience of a F1 hotel.
I normally stay at Resto Novo in Chartres on my way to and from my house in the Creuse.
On this occasion all the budget hotels in Chartres were out of twin bed rooms, so I opted for F1 in Evreux.
Staff were excellent and friendly, the room was clean and the beds were adequate.
Wifi reception excellent.
We love this place. Great hotel full of character in the centre of town close to bars, restaurants and the Cathedral. Very pet friendly… because we arrive with our two dogs as a stop off on the way to the South of France they always give us a super, spacious bedroom in the courtyard. This hotel is a lovely find.
Seriously could not fault this hotel. After a 10 hour drive it was a very welcoming, super friendly hotel. I don’t usually leave reviews but as it was SO good I needed to. Just a special mention and thank you to the two ladies, one in the evening and one in the morning that were so nice and really helpful.
everything you need for a night stay, clean and comfortable. Breakfast isn't good enough. But I came to this hotel four years ago, the breakfast was worse. So they are improving fast on breakfast. The price for a family stay one night is really really good.
I like that it was downtown and looked like old France. We stayed on the third floor and all the rooms were completely redone, modernized and very nice. Has air conditioning, a great shower and bathroom and very comfortable beds. Just like new !
This is a standard business hotel, with standard features. All worked fine and the room was nice. Breakfast was good but without vegetables which for me as vegetarian was less optimal. Overall, it was a nice stay.
The staff at the hotel were helpful. They let us check in early and leave our luggage so we could explore. When we got back late, the security guard gave us our room cards.
