It’s beautiful place if you like walking as the beach is a little way down the mountain . You have to drive or take the bus . There’s not much to do here but eat in restaurants on old cobbled streets and look at art .
For those who are fit it’s good to hike on a rugged road to the beach it takes a hour and is hairy , but you feel a sense of achievement .

An overall nice stay with a great view but an odor in our room took over our entire stay experience. We were unable to stay in the suite we booked which was unfortunate. The service was good sometimes and bad other times. It depended who we spoke to. We ate at the restaurant two nights in a row and it had a nice view the food was good too. I enjoyed the buffet style breakfast every morning. I also had a private transportation for my big family of 7 to get around. I would not recommend their in-house taxi service because it was way overpriced. Our private transportation that we booked for other days was cheaper. Local Taxi's also charged a better rate. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves minus the odor and suite situation.

Incomparable view onto Èze and coast.
Incomparable view onto Èze and coast. Well appointed, spacious and furnished terrace/grounds, which allows one to make most of view, as apartment smaller than expected. Excellent location to tour from though car needed. Èze itself, must be experienced especially early morning or late afternoon, when crowds are gone. Memorable stay.

Truly beautiful!
Truly beautiful! Would have liked to have visited the beach but we had other days in other locations planned at the beach. The old Eze village is worth the trip - amazing buildings, cute shopping, and excellent pizza at the bottom. Taxi drivers are very helpful and friendly.

We spent only one night, but loved it.
Eze Hermitage is practically at the top of the city. Great view.
Walked around the grounds. Had to call the hotel to get directions.
GPS bailed on us a couple of times.
Without a doubt, Chateau Eza is THE definition of a 5-star hotel. It is truly a unique complex integrated into the medieval town of Eze; it is at THE TOP of the hill--the only destination higher than this is the spectacular exotic garden. Probably one of the most incredible sea views I've ever seen. One word of caution though: guests really shouldn't have any mobility concerns at all as there are multiple steps to get to the complex and maneuver to the restaurant, lounge, etc.
The hotel was nice. We had a room looking at the parking lot. It was old but clean.
The rooms on the other side were much nicer and had more light. I guess also more expensive.
The breakfast was ok. The fruits were good and there were many options of fruits.
The bar and pool area was nice.
Parking is free and good.
Not in walking distance to Eze or the other villages around.
What an incredible hotel! It’s hard to say what we liked about the hotel because everything was perfect. We travelled as a family to celebrate a wedding anniversary so we were unsure about taking a 5 years old with us, but the hotel and restaurant was very family friendly and we were very well looked after.
ten minute walk to Eze. exceptional view from spacious deck. easy gated entrance with guard most of the day. free parking. nearby is bus service into Monte Carlo. well equipped kitchen, quality furnishing and finishes. well managed by offsite owner who provides very good communication
I was so surprised with this place! The view is amazing. A huge balcony where we can see the ocean and the village of Èze. The appartment is well decorated, beautifull and super clean. Walking distance to town with a nice view as well. Suzana is such a sweet host!
La Vieille Bergerie is cozy and comfortabe where is a good place where you can go hiking too, it's easy to go to Eze village about 2.8 KM where you can go about 30 mins on foot. I like their breakfast whick provided several kinds of bread, juice, coffee....etc.
My family and I had a great experience at this hotel! This is the second time we've stayed here, the last was in 2016. The unit was very spacious and the view was amazing. The short walk to Eze made the location perfect! My kids also loved the pool.
Very picturesque room in an historic building. Located in a peaceful setting in a forested area close to Eze and Côte d’Azur. We found nice hiking nearby and had a very warm welcome from Odile, Cédric and their lovely dog.
Everything. The hotel's location was perfect near to Cap Ferrat, Villefranche and Monaco.
The position was magnificent overlooking the sea tucked beneath the cliffs of Eze
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great pool, wonderful patio outside of our room with a fabulous view of the Med, fantastic rooftop bar, convenient location with shuttle to Eze village, really friendly staff, excellent breakfast and dinner.
Everything, amazing hotel, beautiful view, definitely worth the visit. If you're not sure about the location - there is a shuffle bus going to/from the centre of village. Absolutely perfect
Strategic position so close to Eze and La Turbie. The big terrace with terrific view of Eze.
Great hospitality and good communication by Geoff and Kenny
Amazing view on the small terrace. The hosts were fantastic. It was bitter sweet to stay here as we have family history with Eze dating back 100 years.
