Esprit Bohème, hotel in Fayence

Offering city views, Esprit Bohème is an accommodation set in Fayence, 28 km from Musee International de la Parfumerie and 38 km from Saint-Raphaël Valescure Train Station.

Good location (in the center of Fayence, only few minutes by foot from public parking where we always had available space for car), excellent view on the street, quiet room (at least now, in Apr, having windows closed at night), good restaurant on ground flow (don't forget check their schedule) Very well equipped kitchen (instead of regular dinner table they have smth like bar counter but that's fully fine for 2 people) (Note: there is is a small coffee maker there, using Nespresso, small capsules) Host answering quickly and happy to help and give advice. In general that's really very good accommodation and we were happy stay there. I recommend it for sure. PS. Probably I missed that info in welcome message: to access apartment use a door left from restaurant entrance (for us it was not obvious on arrival that's a right way :)

    The village is really picturesque.

The village is really picturesque. The medieval roads are very inviting to explore, there is a little market in the weekend and surprisingly many options to have a drink or dinner. Also some options for shopping. The locals were extremely friendly and welcoming. Several other small villages in the surrounding to explore.

    Very good restaurants for dinner.

Very good restaurants for dinner. Historic little town perched on the side of a hill. very picturesque, and a great base for touring the area. We had short local trips to nearby places and longer trips eg to Montecarlo. The local roads are a little narrow and steep, so we avoided driving after dark. It was advisable to make restaurant reservations during the day in advance.

I have never heard of Fayence until we decided to take a trip that involved a pickleball tournament there. What a gem! Fayence is a village on the side of a hill between the sea and the mountains (between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël). We visited end of August and stayed in Au bon accueil, which is around the corner from everything and had views of the city and mountains. The local market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays by the church. We ate at the Michelin rated restaurant, Les Tempes de Cerises, on our last night there. What a memorable meal. EVERYTHING was delicious. We also at at La Strega during our trip a few times as the meals were delicious and they were open late too. We also walked to the Statue Gardens, which is also by the church. On Thursday night, there was dancing in the same square by the church where the local market is also located. Do know that if you stay in Fayence, bells ring from 6:00-23:00 the number of times for the hour (might be twice at 6:00) and once at the half hour. You get used to it. Fayence may be small but it’s got a lot of personality. I look forward to returning!

    Nice old town.

Nice old town. We drove through at night and noticed restaurants and people but had no chance to walk the little streets Nearby aerodrome for sailplane sailing with nice restaurant/brasserie right in front of aerodrome apron (grass).

Charming medieval hilltop village with a commanding view of the countryside. One of the best restaurants we have ever enjoyed at Le Moulin de la Camandoul (inn). Famous soaring (gliders) center at Fayence airport. Way underrated in the guidebook we had. Tip: if you rent a car to drive there, make it small, an automatic, and carry a good GPS device. Streets are VERY narrow, steep, and winding, making it hard to keep your bearings.) Nice shops, including ceramics at Soleils Aux Fayence.

What a wonderful place. The hosts are warm and lovely, speak great English and are indulgent of beginner French. The food at the restaurant is superb. For dessert chose the almond cake with cherry and elderberry confit and was I think the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. The homestead is Provençal country bliss, together with the bluest secluded pool, and dining comes with the best views of hilltop Fayence as the sun sets. Fully renovated bathroom and all amenities.

Location and views from the apartment were fantastic, everything you need even tetley tea bag’s,parked in the square behind church free, make sure it’s not market day next day(tow away zone)walk to the apartment about 250 mts down hill, coming back up was more challenging depending on your luggage, restaurants with 3-5 min walk ,I throught the apartment was up stairs, there were no stairs straight of the street, owners live up stairs and more than happy to help in any way

This rental is absolutely fantastic. Exquisite, recently renovated apartment (July 2022), thoroughly modern with classic touches. Air conditioning; Wifi; large, comfortable bed; kitchen, and a fabulous view. Right in the heart of Fayence. But the best part of the rental is the owners - Delphine and Jérémy are wonderful! Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Probably my best Airbnb experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had a magnificent stay at Mas De La Coste. Jackie and Louis are the perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. Our room was incredible with the most beautiful view, just perfect. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location was perfect for a 5 minute stroll into the village for drinks and food. We would highly recommend and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Jackie and Louis! X

The hosts are lovely, attentive and very helpful. The toiletteries were of good quality. The air-conditioner works well and there is a good mini bar with very reasonable prices. Of course there is coffee making facilities as well. It is located 75 metres from the old church square. All restaurants are easy 3 minute walk away.

The farm is a nice getaway from the city. They had homemade jam and wines; lovely! Nice dinner ambience, the dinner was made by the owners - it was delicious & we enjoyed the vegetables served from the farm to table. Plus, Fayence center is not too touristy. There's a lot of nature nearby the area to visit (lake, stream)
