The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all modern conveniences. The location was brilliant with everything I needed right on the doorstep. The owner was great as I arrived late at night and they met me outside the apartment. Parking was conveniently over the road.

The city center is very nice. I's organized with care and love.
We didn't have time to visit the fortress but it looked very impressive from outside.
The city park is very beautiful, nice and calm. A nice place for a walk.

Beautiful historic city.
Beautiful historic city. We were just passing through, but discovered a really picturesque town to which we would gladly return.
Off season for us, so the castle only had restricted opening hours, but the walk around the outside was more than adequate. Plenty of free parking around town.

Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings.
Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings. A well signed posted walking route covers all the places of interest in an easy way. Still worth visiting in depths of winter. There are also usual shops and lots of creperies - maybe not a huge choice in winter, but even on a late Sunday evening we got a meal.

The town isn't big so a couple of nights would be enough. We went to a wonderful restaurant. Walked the town walk. Enjoyed the gardens. The castle is a must see and very informative. We wish the theatre has been showing something as it's such a grand building.

Fougeres is a medium sized historic town with an incredible medaeval castle, lovely architecture and good restaurants and shops. The location is also accessible to interesting towns and villages that are well worth exploring. My husband and myself stayed for three nights to break our onward journey and thought this was about the right length of time to spend there. We would definitely recommend it.
This property is centrally located in the winding old streets of Fougères with beautiful views of the château from the bedroom. The proprietor is very welcoming and speaks English, and she made us a very delicious breakfast spread in the beautiful dining room. The shower has hot water with great pressure (perfect!) and the bed was very comfortable and we slept quite well - perfect after a long day of driving and sightseeing.
The location was beautiful, Fougeres is a lovely town with great sites to see and splendid restaurants. The accomodation is really excellent the beds comfortable and the house decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. The communication from Laetitia was brilliant with everything arriving in good time. I really can't fault the place it was exactly what we needed.
Amazing 1790 private house overlooking the Chateau de Fougère and the valley. Charmingly restored, still rustic. Like living in a country house 100 years ago. It with a very nice bathroom. For breakfast the owner serves milk, eggs, and other products from her family’s farm. Staying here was a highlight of my trip to France.
Location!!
A short stroll and you’re at the Château de Fougères. Beautiful town.
Hotel has normal rooms but it was clean which it always a bonus.
It is pet friendly and our dog stayed for free with us.
We only stopped overnight on our way through France so it was a perfect location and a great hotel for a stopover.
This is a gem in the heart of beautiful, historic Fougères! Everything was lovely and the host super responsive. Kitchen was well-equipped and coffee/tea a nice touch. Toilet and shower/sinks are in separate rooms on the middle floor. Parking was free and right outside the front door. It was super quiet at night.
impeccable! rooms very comfortable - best place for discover this jewel 💎 city - and the restaurant- top top top! we reserved the restaurant ( the best in the city) but we don’t know that is in the same place that we stay …. an amazing surprise! we truly recommend both - hotel & restaurant ❤️
The hostess was lovely and ready to oblige at any moment. Parking was free nearby which was a bonus. We appreciated the larger bed and access to fridge and kitchen. The location was very quiet and not far from the gardens and castle. The supermarket was also close by.
A good place to spend a night. Great Wifi, free public parking nearby. Good buffet breakfast is served in the hotel bistro. We were provided with a cot free of charge.
Tea making facilities as well as a small fridge in the room were great too.
Very nice and helpful hosts.
A free public parking nearby.
Close to the city center.
About 1 hour drive to Mont Saint-Michele (strongly recommended). However, you'll probably enjoy a walk in Fougères center (city park and fortress) as well.
Good location, easy to park car and walking access to some restaurants near by. Apartment itself is very comfortable and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely a better option then hotel when staying for a few days!
The room is cosy, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. It's a great location outside the city centre, close to supermarkets and a bakery. Ample parking space. Will definitely stay there again when in Fougeres!
Spacious, beautiful historic rooms in a great location. Antique furnishings, modern luxury and a wonderful host! Perfect location, close to everything in Fougeres. So grateful for our stay!
Location is perfect, the rooms exceptional in a very rare building and wooden paneled room, excellent with a wonderful view over Fougères. I enjoyed the breakfast too. Super host!
A lovely restored Chateau. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is perfect to explore both Fougères and Vitré, two beautiful medieval villages.
We had a very pleasant night’s stay at the Brit du Parc Fougeres.
It was very comfortable and the receptionist Virginie was exceptionally helpful and charming.
