The pool is of an exceptionally high standard and offers genuine spa jets, waterfall and the possibility of swimming. The room was clean and decorated to a high standard, the table cloth, bed linen, towel and bath robes were of exceptional quality (made locally). There is a luxurious atmosphere, the staff is trained and professional, a true example of french "hotellerie". The restaurant (cerf) was very good but could improve to excellent, considering the resources available. Overall our stay there was outstanding, we were well looked after and I will definitely consider going back.

Gerardmer is in the beautiful and dense pine forest of the Vosges. It is perfect for hiking, whether it be short and easy around the lake or hard and rocky up the mountain to visit the observation tower. Water falls and isolated villages are abundant.
On the shores of the lake is a nice park and playground for young children and the San Remo Italian restaurant in the town was excellent for young and old.

Great place for nice walks in the mountain, with a lot of choices on the duration, and not too difficult. Great place in summer for enjoying a cool splash in the lake, from multiple small beaches, for free. Water temperature during our stay mid August 24 degrees C ! Popular place but not too crowdy and globally relaxed atmosphere

Small town set in ring of mountains (Vosges).
Small town set in ring of mountains (Vosges).
The town itself isn't terribly interesting.
Main attraction is its lake & proximity to ski-slopes/hiking paths further up. There's a path around the lake which is good for a run (6km) and in summer one can swim in lake.
We visited the place out-of-season for a quiet w-end.
Not sure we'd want to be there in season 'Summer/skiing period (when snow) with the madding crowd.
But Spring and Autumn must be very pleasant.
We stayed here for two nights. Beautiful hotel with views of the lake. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean and minifridge and microwave a huge plus when travelling with a baby. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We also loved the breakfast. Overall a very relaxing and recharging stay. It’s not cheap, but you are paying for the views and attention to detail at this lovely boutique hotel.
This is a typical family run French hotel and restaurant right on the main square of the touristy town of Gerardmer. Our rooms were quiet and clean, the bathrooms with loads of hot water and good showers. The owner made available a private parking area for our motorbikes which was much appreciated. We ate well in the restaurant and enjoyed a good breakfast.
the breakfast was a bit of a question because there were 4 guests in the hotel but the breakfast plate had 1 banana, 3 tomatoes and one kiwi. I'm not sure how that could have been split between all the guests. However, the room was big and comfortable and very clean. The hotel was totally quiet and we had an excellent sleep.
We had a great stay in this house in Gerardmer. The house is large and equipped with everything what you would require. The hosts are very friendly. The area is also very nice, we could ski at La Bresse Hohneck and we made great hiking trips next to the house in the valley of the Vologne river and at the Col de la Schlucht.
Perfect little get away with beautiful Spa and beautiful views. Well equipped, comfortable apartment with lots of amenities. Space for 6 people with comfortable beds - baby cot additionally available!
Check-in/-out was very easy and smooth, communication was pro-active, very clear and generous.
The owners make you feel like home the minute you arrive there. The view, the location in the middle of the woods. Don't miss the food, the dinner menus are very good, very generous for a good price.
This is the perfect place to take vacation with your dogs.
the hotel was ideally placed en-route during a motorcycling tour of eastern mountainous France. Gerardmer has loads to offer with some great circular routes around the basin of locale… the room was adequate, with clean decor and rudimentary facilities.
I liked the position between the 2 ski resorts, gerardmer and la breese. Easy access to the city & everything.
The Chalet was nice and fully equipped.
The space inside the house was great.. also amazing to have the river around.
I have now stayed in Les Adrets twice and I was delighted with the chalet each time. The view from the chalet is beautiful. It is a short drive to both Gerardmer town centre and the ski slopes.
The location at the nice sea of gerardmer is really excellent and the old hotel has been refurbished over the last years. The Junior Suite was tall enough and the bed was for french uses ok.
