Location was perfect. It is right in the field of lavender fields (but season ended on 1st week of July)
The Gîte was thoroughly cleaned with a touch of lavender scent inside. Ut is also well equipped for your cooking and barbecue(complete ustensils). You also have the following :
Washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, hair dryer, TV with Youtube, Internet and plenty of outdoor area.
It is also in a secured private lot with private gate where you'll stay right below the home owners. Though the owners live upstairs, they are very kind and caring and you get total privacy and they allow "tolerable noise" even at night. The welcoming homeowners are very accomodating and will make sure that you have a perfect stay.
- Lac Sainte Croix is just 30mins where you can do your water activities like kayak and paddle boats along the Gorges du Verdon (this is where you'd want to go as you can cruise right inside the Gorges/Canyon)
- Route des Cretes is 40mins away and is perfect for your roadtrip as you drive along panoramic spots and views of the Gorges.
- Verdon river is 10mins walk and is nice for an early morning walk along it.
- The place is in Greoux-les-Bains, a quiet and pleasant little village near Valensole(home of lavender fields too which is around 20mins drive)
PS: The owners do not charge you a cleaning fee so it would be kind to help cleaning a little bit before you go and to not leave the place in a mess. 😀
