This was a stunning place and a perfect couple of nights of luxury to end our two week break traveling around France. The hosts were very kind, helpful and accommodating. Thank you again for making us so welcome. The pool area and location in general was gorgeous. So peaceful. One of the holes on the golf course goes past, but this is in no way obtrusive. Our room (Cuba) was wonderfully themed and decorated - really unique. They have really taken the time to create a beautiful place and it's all the more touching to read about an accidental fire years ago which meant they had to start all over again. Breakfast was lovely. Yes, as some other reviews have mentioned it was a little strange being delivered to outside your door, but we actually enjoyed this. It meant we could enjoy a private, quiet breakfast together on what felt like our own little front garden. Some other nice touches, like some welcome wine on arrival and your own parking space. Realistically you need to have your own car to stay here. We did several trips to and from Arcachon and Gujan-Mestras, which was very straightforward.

The property was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Two bikes were provided for our stay and despite a problem with one of the bikes, Arnaud had it repaired promptly and we were able to use them for the duration of our stay. Local restaurants are about 30 mins walk from the property (we would recommend L'Osteria Pizzeria if you want a change from seafood) but having the access to bikes makes it very easy to get around and the surrounding area is well set up for cyclists. Also, the property is very well equipped for preparing and enjoying a meal there.
Boasting inner courtyard views, Les cocons du bassins - Logements neufs tout équipés proche littoral provides accommodation with balcony, around 6.4 km from La Coccinelle.

The location is great to get around, it's quiet, everything is nearby or very reachable. The harbor is a 30min walk away, for some food. If you want to cook yourself everything you need is there and the groceries are either in walking distance (boulangerie, boucherie) or a short drive (or walk, but it was too hot when we were there).
During very hot days (+30 C), the airco and shade of the palm tree really helps to keep the inside cool, in combination with the blinds..

Gujan-Mestras is not a particularly lively or beautiful village, Arcachon is much nicer, but it has its really nice parts: the costal area with great, very authentic oyster restaurants and oyster farms; the ornithological reservation; beautiful walk along the coast to an interresting area plage de la Hume etc...

It was very handy to visit the nature reserve at Le Tech.
It was very handy to visit the nature reserve at Le Tech. The restaurants in the port area were excellent. Did not have time for any other visits, but I would think that traffic could be a problem at the height of the tourist season.
Very functional: 1) close to Bordeaux-Arcachon motorway, close to Gujan-Mestras harbour for great oyster tasting, close to leisure parks & commercial center. 2) basic but good and comfortable hotel. clean rooms with good beds, good shower and OK breakfast buffet
Newly done, apartments look great. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with plenty of space and front and back outside seating. Better than expected and nicer than photos. Very close to all the Gujan-Mestras oyster restaurants and lovely balcony overlooking water.
All thing was goo what I expected,
Late arrival on the hotel, it is difficult to find out how to access the main entrance..
Luckily I bumped into someone who came out then I asked her how to access.. Success..
Very nice house with a outdoor pool in Gujan-Mestras. Free parking places for cars. Good location to explore Arcachon Bay area with car. The owner was also very friendly for us. We had a great week in this place!
Breakfast which was included in the price was very good. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and great area just ourside the hotel for walking dogs
It was the second time we stayed at this hotel, and again it was a pleasant confirmation, very close to Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat, and in a quiet location. Good breakfast and a plus the secure parking.
