All was excellent. I was cycling the canals and this was a perfect location just a five minute cycle from the route. Lady running the B&B was friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more from a place to stay. Better than a hotel.

Great location right on the canal, comfy bed, gorgeous little apartment with lots of extra touches like coffee and breakfast. We had secure storage for our bikes and the host was very friendly and helpful.

Very clean apartment, very close to canal, bicycle way and selection of restaurants. We had an excellent pizza at Rive Gauche and a lovely boat trip on the Saint Ferreol. Village has an excellent supermarket. Apartment is 20 miles from Carcassonne

The Vila itself was quite nice with plenty of room for a group of up to about 6-8 people, and was dog friendly (for a fee of €47 per week). It has a garden which was especially great for the dog, and the communal area was well looked after and maintained. There was also a nice swimming pool, with a bar/cafe next door. Hats off to the staff that run the bar/cafe, they were amazing and made the best croissants & pain au chocolats I’ve ever had!
Le Mas De Gaujac is located outside the town of Lézignan-Corbières, a 5-minute drive from the city centre and a 3-minute drive from exit 25 of the A61 motorway.

Nice people, the service is personal wich I appreciate very much. To be mentioned: we ate in the restaurant despite our late arrival.
I liked Homps. It was lovely. The restaurants were superb, really good, my personal favourite was Le Foudre, but they were all amazing. Also loved the lake and the amenities there. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful hotel, very helpful hosts, accommodation excellent, pet friendly too. We did some fishing, wished we could have caught more !!! Very tranquil setting, and restaurants either side of our accommodation were excellent. Only one disappointment was a restaurant called "La Peniche", would never go again, kept us waiting an inordinate amount of time between courses and food was not good either. The restos to visit, En Bonne Compagnie, La Foudre, and La Rive Gauche. Variety of choices and all have excellent food.

Robyn our host advised us of a beautiful lake less than a kilometre away to swim and or dine at. Also many restaurants along the canal to choose for an evening drink and or dinner. Friendly and relaxed.

Homps is a very quiet village with little happening other than the activities of those using boats on the canal or cycling along the towpath. Unfortunately, our one night stay was for a Monday night when most of the best restaurants are closed. Nearly everyone in the restaurant we visited was from outside France so it appears that the village is populated mainly by tourists in the Summer months. For anyone looking for a quiet break away providing an opportunity to tour the beautiful villages in the area, Homps would be ideal.
The owners of this hotel are the most lovely and welcoming people ever! They took care of us when we arrived at the hotel tired of a day of cycling and also booked for us the restaurant. They gave us a welcoming drink and wet towels and breakfast the next morning was great! The room was clean, quiet and very spacious, the bed was also very comfortable and king size. The swimming pool seemed nice and clean too but it was to windy to swim while we were there. I 100% recommend this hotel for your stay on the Canal du Midi!
Characterful old French house set in a beautiful garden with a wonderful calming atmosphere, gorgeous individual furniture and comfortable rooms with a view of the Midi. The hosts Matt and Gemma ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay very special which included a varied breakfast served in the garden at a time convenient to us. We would recommend this charming hotel which strikes a perfect balance of friendly and homely but respecting quiet privacy. Thankyou
We stayed at Maison des Palmiers for a night while cycling the Canal du Midi. Gemma showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful and very well kept.
There are many bars and restaurants in the area, considering Homps is such a small village, and after a great night's sleep there was a really lovely breakfast waiting for us downstairs.
Would definitely recommend; we'll be back!
The accommodation was really quite remarkable. My wife and I have stayed in over 600 hotel/motel/B&Bs during the past 10 years in 20+ countries and this would rate in the top 20. Robyn made access very easy which is the biggest challenge for private hosts and main concern for guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Jardin d'Homps. We were well looked after from the moment we arrived and enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine in the garden. Lots of reccomendations and the breakfast was outstanding. Thank you!
This place was fine for a stopover with our bikes. Seemed a little bit tired generally and nobody much around. Early in season though. Very close to the village of Homps - 5 min walk for restaurants and shop.
A pleasant environment a short bike ride from Homps. The pool was really pleasant. Local Restaurant was excellent and host provided the best breakfast of our holiday.
