Perfect hotel to stay in Lourdes. No frills, but in every way exceptional. Lovely friendly people running the place, really comfortable bed, first rate breakfast. We took the full board option, lunch & dinner was a set menu with no choice; they were delicious and plentiful. Perfect location, just behind the citadel on the banks of the River Gave, 10 minutes walk from the train station, 5 minutes from the Cachot.. The bridge across into the religious city a three minute walk, 10 minutes walk to the Grotto. Quiet apart from the wonderful sound of the river flowing...

The hotel is very close to the sanctuary and in the city centre. The staff are very friendly and responsive. We also needed some medical assistance that they were more than happy to help with. Totally recommend this place.

Location was very good as the hotel is near The Sanctuary of Lourdes (Marian Shrine) which is the main reason for visiting Lourdes. I was glad that there was a lift/elevator which made it easy to take our luggage to our room on upper floor and made the upper floor accessible for disabled people. The male staff member at the check-in desk was polite and offered to speak to us in English as our French was limited. He was the only staff member we saw during our one night stay. He did not offer to show us to our room or help with luggage or offer us water on arrival despite there being no food or drink available in the evening at the hotel.
