The breakfast was great and nicely presented. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful home and gardens. Sandra was a delight and our little Rocky eventually fitted in well with Elliot and the dogs she was keeping such that he didn't want to leave! Though my French was a struggle, Sandra was helpful and we got along well with her better English. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Dany is an excellent cook who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners (dinners aren't available every night) taking account of an allergy that one of us has. She and her husband were also very friendly and helpful, including making restaurant bookings for us. The rooms all have a view over the river Loire (sadly very dry this summer). The area has a variety of historic chateaux and other places of interest which we enjoyed visiting.

Our hosts were more than helpful giving us dinner on the first evening as all the shops were shut.
The town was small, but contained the necessary facilities.
The town was small, but contained the necessary facilities. It was in easy reach of larger towns which had more to offer in terms of exploring. We enjoyed Saumur and Angers. We visited the chateaux in both, which there enjoyed by all. We also enjoyed swimming at the designated swimming areas in the Loire. We visited Le Mans, which is a bit further away, but worth a visit if your party contains any petrolheads)
Navigating was reasonably easy once you understoid the vagaries of the French postcode system.
We ate one night at a restaurant on a campsite recommended by our hosts one evening. It served the most lovely food. I had a scallop ceviche salad. There was also duck, veal and various other dishes on the menu that were tried and enjoyed by various members of the family.
